This place is in a perfect location. The accommodations were comfortable and we had space for everyone. The stove was out of gas and we were unable to use it. The management did bring us a new tank. It is a bummer there is not a dryer in the unit. The guests downstairs set off the smoke detector which went off for about 20 minutes. The drains and the bathrooms smell terrible of sulfur. all in all a good option!
We had 4 couples stay for a weekend to begin our Iceland trip. Great location and clean apartment.

Dear Michelle,
Thank you for your feedback! We’re glad to hear that you enjoyed the location and found the apartment clean. It was a pleasure having you stay with us. Safe travels!
Thank you for your review. We sincerely appreciate and value your comments on areas within our apartment hotel that we believe that we can improve to enhance our guests stay. Thanks for staying with us. We do hope that we are able to welcome you back in the future. Best and warmest wishes, Sashko.
Our family of six stayed here for two nights and we were all sad to leave it. It was spacious, clean, and comfortable. We all slept so well, too. The location couldn’t be better, and our hosts communicated promptly to answer our questions. We would definitely stay here again. We did note that there was a washer with no dryer, but a heated drying rack in the bathroom. Just need to plan ahead if you plan on washing some clothes.
This apartment easily fit all 5 of us, and could have fit the 7 originally planned. The living room is spacious, and the full size kitchen was lovely. Even though there is no dryer in the apartment, the property manager was incredibly responsive and allowed us to use the 2nd floor laundry facilities (at no charge). Overall, the apartment is a PERFECT home base to see Iceland (we even saw the northern lights from the window one night!) and great for a larger group or family.
The location is perfect. We were able to walk to all of the attractions in Reykjavik. We were very close to the church, the water front, Harpa, was a short walk as was the shopping district. There is a wonderful bakery within walking distance as well. Around the block is a nice hotel with a small restaurant where we had breakfast several mornings. There were five adults at the apartment and we had plenty of space to sit around and relax after a day of excursions. The beds were very comfortable and the rooms were very clean and bright. I was able to see the Northern lights outside my bedroom window. The only drawback would be the stairs to the apartment, which were a little difficult while carrying a suitcase. Overall I would stay there again without hesitation.
Our group consisted of three adults and four children 8-12 so we needed a big enough space for for everyone to be able to spread out. This was definately the right place. The beds were very confortable and the couch had room enough for everyone. The kitchen had everything we needed, Plenty of plates and glasses and a nice large fridge. It is up two flights of stairs with no elevator so be aware if you have mobility problems. Very conveniently located to all of the attractions and restaurants. We walked everywhere in town but it was also convenient to the freeway for our out of town excursions. The only minor issue is the lack of a designated parking place but we usually found a spot in the next block. Only one day when we got back about 11pm we had to park about 3 blocks away. That is partly because we had a 9 passenger van that needed a larger than average spot. The parking is pay as you go so you'll need to download the parking app so you can add time to your parking remotely. The only thing I'd add is better room darking shades. We were here in June when it never really gets dark. Overall I highly reccommend this place especially if you have a large group or if you just like space. .
Clean and appropriately stocked for a short stay. We arrived from an overnight flight and went ahead and booked the night before so we could go straight to the apt. Great move for us in that we were able to nap and settle in before heading out to see the neighborhood. Convenient location. Easy communication.
