Clean 2 bedroom ranch with walkout basement on 1/2 acre lot. New large outside shower, private backyard, deck, new queen size mattress, two twin beds. Walk to local pond, library, and small store. 1/4 mile to bike trail and about 2 miles to ocean beaches and 7 local bay beaches. No highway or traffic noise but still walk to new Eastham library or windmill functions. Other close-by activities: Charter fishing (Rock Harbor & Wellfleet Harbor), whale watching, flea market, National Seashore Park walking trails and many restaurants.

Why Craig Brooke chose Eastham
This property is very quiet, you cannot hear the roar of the highway but you are still waking distance to Eastham superette, new town library and many summer functions on the windmill common. The bike trail is less than a 1/4 mile down Samoset road and you can drive to the many bay beaches without traveling on the busy Rt 6.

A nice location but home needs work
Do not expect the comforts of home. Bring your own towels and bed sheets/linens. Pillows are flat. Not very clean, needs work. This was only disclosed in the contract after the opportunity to back out without paying had passed. The furniture is old and worn—not comfortable at all. The location is great with a shoppette around the corner which is nice but pricy, the coffee shop in the chapel is under construction so not open for a while. Numerous beaches are close by.
We have stayed in other VRBO in many locations and have enjoyed every one of them because they were outfitted as a home away from home. Disappointed in this one. Pictures available.
I am always concerned when a tenant is not happy and try to make it right. In this case I explained that our HomeAway profile indicates linens are not included as does the lease (very common for Cape Cod). I immediately offered to provide all NEW linens and towels for a $35 charge. Customer declined my offer. I continue to improve this property and believe it is appropriately priced. The bathroom was 100% completely remodeled last year, the house has all new Karndean high-end flooring, new 40 inch TV, High speed internet and a generous TV channel package (all this year). The furniture is clean, modern and many have said comfortable, when the furniture shows too much wear it is replace. Each year there are more upgrades and improvements but with that comes increase in rent. I believe this customer was unreasonably upset about the linens and thus resulted in this negative review of my property and the local shoppette prices. The house is thoroughly cleaned after each tenant and to this renters' credit she did leave the property exceptionally clean and I rated her such. My phone # and email are available at booking and I always encourage any tenant to call prior to their stay with any questions or concerns. Our goal is the same; that the renter have the best vacation and stay possible!
This house is on a private road off the main drag. Close to beaches, ponds, library, restaurants and stores. The house has everything you will need. Great vacation!
