Ideally located this apartment is in the tourist area of Funchal just 20minutes walk from the city centre. It’s fully equipped with all you need to spend a nice holiday for a great price.It has a private balcony with sea views , a private garage and a rooftop swimming pool.
On the ground floor there is a supermarket and a restaurant. Furthermore you have a wide range of restaurants, pubs ,car rentals,shops,banks,post office , pharmacy etc.
Right in front of the building there is a very well served bus stop in case you want to go to the town centre, or to the airport ( aerobus)and a sightseeing bus stop.You will also find a taxi stand at a 2 minutes walk.
If you enjoy walking it will take about 20 minutes to get to the town centre and the Lido seaside promenade is just 5 minutes walk from the apartment. While walking you can appreciate beautiful gardens and sights.

- It could occur some noise during your stay because of some works in a neighboring building.

recommend to everyone

We liked the stay at funchal. The apartment is very well located and cozy, the decor is very tasteful, and is available to all that is needed for a relaxing holiday together. It has a great rooftop pool, lift access and fantastic views over the sea! Evening you can enjoy the balcony where you hear the agreeable music of the terraces. Fantastic. I had no problem with noise because the window had excellent conditions of isolation. Buses run every hour and very close to the apartment, as well as super markets and restaurants are on the doorstep. Execelente. The landlady is very helpful and concerned about the satisfaction of the guests which is rare! I recommend to everyone, And moreover the price / quality is very good:)

La belle vie !

Si un jour nous devions revenir à Funchal, ça ne pourrait être que chez Ana et Mario. Nous étions limite de nous sentir comme à la maison ! Ana et Mario ne font pas que louer leur appartement, ils mettent tout en œuvre pour que nos vacances se passent du mieux possible. L’appartement est bien situé, spacieux, très bien équipé (jusqu’aux serviettes de toilette) très propre et arranger avec beaucoup de goût. Nous avons également apprécié de disposer d’un parking pour notre location de voiture. Madeira est une île magnifique avec des gens très accueillants. Merci encore à Ana et Mario d’avoir contribuer à nous faire passer de très belles vacances. Nora&Philippe

Fin, mysig lägenhet! Stor balkong. Vi var där precis före jul o hade tom en liten julgran i rummet!! Flera servicebutiker i närheten o stor mataffär en backe ner. Sköna sängar!

Lovely apartment !

All correspondence was prompt on booking. Apartment was exactly as stated. On arrival we were very happy with the location, Anna was there to meet us and was very friendly. The apartment was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. We would definately reccomend this apartment to anyone looking to stay on Madeira, we actually prefered the Lido area to main Funchal not quite as busy but still having plenty of nice restaurants, bars and within easy walking distance of Funchal main town.

Fantastic small apartment in the middle of the Lido.

8 years ago my husbond and I stayed in this lovely apartment and returned this year for 14 days. Placed central in the middle of the Lido makes it very easy for walks, shopping and use of busses - but the trafic also provides some noise, especially during the day. Ana and Mario have renovated the apartment lately and limited the noise from the street very much. The bathroom has also been modernized with a shower and the whole apartment is kept just as clean and well aquipt as we remembered. Here is all you need to feel comfortable even for a longer stay. A great apartment

Arriving 3 hours late (11pm), Ana and Mario we’re outside the apartment waiting for us. It is a great apartment,everything you need plus a generous welcome pack (thank you, Ana).The apartment is very clean and tidy. The location is pretty good with shops and restaurants very close and only a quick stroll down to the lido with it’s open air pools and bars. The pool at the apartment was pretty good too with great views of western Funchal; I even managed a quick dip on January 3rd....hard to believe but exhilarating! The walk into Funchal is easy...downhill mostly but buses and taxis very available for the return trip if you don’t feel up to it. The only reason that I didn’t award 5 stars was that when on the terrace, there was quite a bit of traffic noise, (to be fair, no real surprise as from photo no.1 you can see the street). Don’t let this put you off, it is a great apartment in a great location.

Tolle Wohnung, in der man sich gleich willkommen gefühlt hat.

Die Wohnung ist sauber, geräumig und bietet alles, was man bei einem mehrtätigen/-wöchigen Aufenthalt braucht. Ana wartete an der Haltestelle des Aerobus auf uns und zeigte uns in der Wohnung gleich, wo wir alles finden. Außerdem gab es zur Begrüßung einen kleinen Obstkorb, Kekse und Cracker, so dass man sich gleich willkommen fühlte. Und den morgendlichen Kaffee auf dem Balkon mit Blick vermisse ich zurück in Deutschland sehr!

A large and very comfortable apartment in a perfect location

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this lovely apartment and will certainly be back. The only disappointment was the pool was out of use however this wasn’t a big problem as the lido outdoor public pool was open and this was very close to the apartment. Our plane was delayed and we arrived 3 hours later than expected however this was no problem. Ana kindly met us later than expected and showed us the apartment. It was a surprise for us to have juices, fresh fruit and Maderia wine and the toiletries in the bathroom were all appreciated. Thank you for our 10/10 stay in Maderia!

Perfect place to stay

The apartment was great, very clean and had everything you could need. It was central for all transport, buses run every few minutes and there were plenty of bars and restaurants close by.

Appartement in zentraler Lage, Ausgangspunkt für Aktivitäten aller Art.

Gut ausgestattetes Appartement, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in nächster Nähe. Wem Laufen ein Bedürfnis ist kann die Innenstadt gut zu Fuss erreichen, selbst ein Levada führt in unmittelbarer Nähe (ca.250m aufwärts) vorbei, zur Promenade sind es ca. 150m abwärts. Strassenlärm ist nach Schliessen der Fenster kein Problem, die Umgebung und der Pool auf dem Dach mit einem wunderbarem Ausblick entschädigen dafür. Wir hatten einen Mietwagen, der in der Garage Platz gefunden hat, dieser wäre aber nicht erforderlich gewesen, da die Bushaltestelle direkt vor dem Haus ist. Kurzum, wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen und können dieses Domizil auf jeden Fall weiter empfehlen...

Lovely clean, comfortable apartment in great location!

Lovely apartment and the owners couldn't do enough for us. Madeira wine and chocolates on arrival and a lovely bowl of fruit & orange juice. Little toiletries and lots of fresh bath and beach towels to use. The location is fab with lots of nice restaurants close by. Rooftop pool a lovely extra our daughter loved to cool down and look at great views. Comfy beds with lots of pillows. All in all a great stay with everything we needed. Highly recommend. Very good

We stayed in this appartement for 16 days this summer, and we are very pleased with our stay. The appartement is very light, spacious, comfortable, and has everything you need to feel like home. Big rooms, balcony, and bathroom. And we really enjoyed the location: it is near the beach, and in walking distance from the centre of Funchal. I hope we will come once again to Madeira island and have another stay at this appartment. A great thanks to Ana and Mario for our wonderful vacation.

Very comfortable apartment, well equipped and in a great location.

On arrival at our apartment we found many little extras, a bowl of fruit, water and juice in the fridge which was much appreciated. Our beds were very comfortable and our room was serviced during our nine day holiday. The location of the flat is excellent, an easy 20 mins walk into the centre of Funchal, many lovely restaurants on the doorstep and a food store on the bottom level of the apartment. The high light of our stay was a half day sail with Ventura, a marine biologist accompanies the trip and she gave us lots of information about the dolphins and whales which surrounded our sailing boat. We are already looking forward to returning to this location.

Excellent every thing you could need spotless and comfortable

We walked every day we found several ways of getting into Funchal and Camara de lobos we went to pico do areeiro but had to reverse back down as there was snow !Machico was a nice place. Thank you for everything

Great Apartment

Absolutely fantastic apartment. Arrived late and Ana was there to meet us and show us around the apartment. Great location close to everything with easy bus links in to the city centre. The apartment is well equipped with everything you need for a self catering holiday, although we didn't need to eat in the apartment as there were lots of great restaurants near by. The pool on the top of the building is an added bonus. Thank you very much for letting us stay in your apartment and we hope to come back soon.

Tiptop Wohnung in bester Lage

Die Vermieter sind äußerst angenehm und hilfsbereit. Die Wohnung ist sehr gepflegt und gut ausgestattet, sogar eine Waschmaschine ist vorhanden. Bushaltestellen aller Art sind direkt vor der Haustüre, genauso wie zahllose kleine Restaurants. In das Zentrum von Funchal braucht man zu Fuß in etwa 30 min.. Was wir auch sehr genossen haben ist der Ausblick auf das Meer beim Frühstück. Alles in allem ein wunderbarer, entspannter Aufenthalt!

Todo genial; ubicación, apartamento y trato.

Just do it.

First time in Madeira and we loved it. Ana and Mario are great hosts and very helpful.Nothing is too much trouble. The apartment is very well equipped and comfortable,small kitchenette has everything required should you want to cook meals. Personally, we went out for dinner as apartment is well positioned with restaurants,bars,shops, transport etc all within walking distance. A large balcony,rooftop pool and patio area with fantastic views are the 'icing on the cake'. Go and see for yourself,Just do it. Willie J.

Amazing holidays

The property looked even nicer than in photo. It was great to have breakfasts at the balcony with the ocean view. Location is very good, you can take a walk in a promenade along the ocean or you can reach the heart of Funchal by bus or by foot as we did. At the apartment we found everything that we need for cooking, clothes washing etc. Also a car parking inside the building. Supermarket is just 2 min from the home. Thank You for the nice stay.
