Kingfisher Cottage 1790 with sauna
Cottage from 1790 built around the remnants of a medieval house, parts of which still survive. Traditional renovation using clay, straw and wood on the slope of the area's highest extinct volcano (Ostrzyca/Spitsberg) formed 100 million years ago. Good views of the volcano itself from the house the summit of which can be reached within an hour's walk. Cottage is situated in the Land of Extinct Volcanos, an area of outstanding landscapes unique to Poland.
