It was a lovely property. I honestly can’t complain about anything. The bed was okay, house was clean and heating worked well. Had everything we needed and overall great. Will definitely stay again and recommend. The house number online said 15, but what is visible on the property is 17. Had to ask a local before i was told it’s 15 &17 in one building. But great experience

Not modern or clean
Every window had mold, the spider's webs weren't welcolme, the 70 yeat old paint, repainted 100"s of times isn't modern. Very disappointed. The shower was very poor
The house looked just like the pictures but there were some faults.
Uncomfortable settee which was badly stained.
The kitchen work surface was wooden with no protective covering on it so unhygienic.
Only 1 mirror (in the bathroom) so had to dry my hair in the kitchen using the microwaves reflective door.
No soap and no cleaning products to clean as we went along.

Nettes Appartement
Die Wohnung ist klein, aber an sich gemütlich. Die Betten waren bequem. Ansonsten müsste einiges investiert werden: Sämtliches Besteck und Geschirr in der Küche war komplett schmutzig und fettig. Wir mussten erstmal einiges abwaschen. Die Töpfe sind so alt, dass sie fast auseinander fallen.
Da es nur 3 Gabeln hatte, haben wir die Agentur kontaktiert. Am selben Abend kam noch jemand und brachte uns ein neues Besteck-Set. Da der Dampfabzug nicht ging, kam ein Elektriker, aber das Ding liess sich nicht mehr reparieren.
Fazit: Wenn die Küche erneuert und insgesamt besser geputzt werden würde, wäre dies ein nettes kleines Appartement.
The flat was very clean apart from the couch which let it down as it was badly stained, a good clean and I would have given it top marks. It was nice to have free netflix and amazon prime which was an added bonus. Beds were very comfy with good mattresses and bedding.
The flat was on a housing estate, it was quiet but you do need a car to get about as rather far from anything, oh and very hilly there which I personally found to be a problem with my asthma but son and granddaughter where ok with this.
Overall it was a lovely flat for the money.

Good for what it is
Overall we cant complain and the stay was pleasant, but I think it is certainly overpriced for what it is and where especially with 1 toilet between 6 and limited comfortable seating to enjoy the stay. Location is £50 minimum a day for travel, unless driving into Glasgow which is a nightmare to drive around. Its essentially somewhere to lay your head and you have everything you ‘need’. Just wanted more for the money its for.
