Friends visiting Fatima area.

Good stay. Host attentive. No washer as advertised, we had everything else we needed. The 5th room is accessed on outside. There is a fish pond right outside with frogs that croaked all night. This friend recommends draining pond to get rid of loud croaking frogs, or have a sound machine with white noise. We had a loaf of bread delivered each day, very nice. We enjoyed our stay and appreciate this host!!

Très grande maison familiale très bien équipée où nous étions 14 personnes avec 3 générations réunies. La Casa de Arrabidos est une bulle de sérénité et de verdure avec le chant des perruches et des grillons, une très grande terrasse couverte et une grande piscine d'environ 5m x 15m dont nous avons tous bien profité, mais aussi un billard, des hamacs, un barbecue. On s'y sent très vite comme à la maison en y arrivant. Côté pratique, c'est à 5 min à pied d'un hypermarché. Notre hôte, Rui, était aux petits soins, il habite la maison d'à côté (par exemple, il nous déposait du pain sur la terrasse tous les matins pour le petit déjeuner). Nous avons fait quelques excursions (Fatima à 25 min, Lisbonne à 1h de route ou accessible aussi via un bus à 15 min à pied, la plage de Sintra à 1h30). A noter le fait qu'il n'y a pas de lave linge. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir !

Un îlot au paradis

Une maison traditionnelle pleine de charme. Des chambres constituées comme de mini appartement.sas d entrée pour certaines.salle de bain pour chacune. Pièce commune,terrasse et piscine très grandes. Le poulailler,la volière, les mares pleines de grenouilles , les fleurs de nénuphar. Tout est bucolique.

Vacances extraordinaires!

Partis en famille (6 adultes 2 enfants), et arrivés sur les lieux, nous avons été un peu perplexes en se garant devant la maison sur un parking entouré d’immeubles neufs. Mais alors une fois passé la porte, une oasis de verdure en centre ville. Des arbres, des plantes, plus de bruit si ce n’est les oiseaux et les poules. Étonnant et envoutant. Il s’agit d’une grande maison avec 5 chambres, chacune équipée d’une salle de bain, un très grand jardin avec de magnifiques arbres et plantes. La grande terrasse protégée vous permet de prendre tranquillement votre petit déjeuner et votre diner. Pour le déjeuner une grande table est installée sous les oliviers, un vrai bonheur. La piscine est le véritable plus de cette location. Elle est grande, accessible aux petits enfants et entretenue tous les jours. Elle mériterais un bon coup de peinture mais ce fut tout de même notre activité préférée des vacances. Nous avons également beaucoup apprécié la proximité de nos hôtes, leur présence, leur efficacité, leur bienveillance. Donc en grand merci à Rui, son frère et à Francesca.
