VILLA MATEU - 5 MIN WALK TO THE OLD TOWN

The authentic 2 bedroom cottage-style Villa is full of traditional Mediterranean charm, a nice private pool offers great views to the nearby mountains . It´s also in a wonderful countryside setting, just a 5 minutes walk to Pollensa Old Town with bars, gift shops, nice restaurants. Free WiFi included.

Upon arrival your eye will instantly be drawn to the terraces and patios around the private swimming pool. Here, the hospitable local owners have arrayed a blaze of cactus, palms, mature shrubs, pot plants and colorful bougainvillea.

Inside, modern fixtures and fittings combine effortlessly with the feel and atmosphere of traditional Mallorca. The living space has comfortable seating, a flat screen TV, table and chairs and a typical closed fireplace. Decorated and looked after with great care, the interior is roomy and instantly welcoming with comfortable solid wooden furniture, quality prints and items of local memorabilia adding character.

The two airy bedrooms, one double bedroom and one Twin Room, are fully equipped with fans and sufficient storage. Both bathrooms are kept light and airy. All bedrooms include hot / cold air conditioning. In accordance with local energy saving initiatives, the villa has timed air conditioning on all units from 21h to 8h and 14h to 16h.

Spending time in the sunshine in this pretty environment enjoying the pool, the two sun terraces and, of course, the fruits of the adjacent barbecue is pure pleasure.

In Pollença you’ll find shopping a cultural center, the Pollença market, restaurants, cafes and bars. Traditional shops and churches are also present on this historic town. Enjoy the environment in the evening and take part of its activities. On Sundays there is a local farmers market in the main square where local vegetables, fruits and spices are abundant.

Puerto Pollensa beach is perfect for relaxing at the Sun, or for the more active, enjoy water sports like kayaking, windsurf or jet skiing.

In Cala Sant Vicenç (or simply Cala as it is known by the locals) there is a mini market, several small restaurants offering a variety of dining experiences and even a couple of bars. There are four small coves and two main areas of the beach. Cala Sant Vicenç has spectacular views and crystal clear waters.
