L'unité 405 a récemment été redécorée. La cuisine a de nouveaux appareils et des comptoirs en granit. Les deux salles de bains comprennent des baignoires en marbre et des murs de douche et des dessus de toilette. Les équipements de la salle de séjour comprennent un système de son home cinéma avec connexion I Pod / MP3. Ce condo de vacances à front de mer se trouve à Destin, en Floride, le long de la côte d'émeraude. La location de condo n ° 405 peut accueillir jusqu'à 6 personnes avec un lit king dans la chambre principale, une télévision 32 ', 2 lits jumeaux dans la chambre d'amis 24' et un canapé-lit dans le salon une télévision 42 '. The unit was nice although the master bedroom carpet needed a shampoo in my opinion. The unit had everything we needed and the bed was comfy. Wonderful trip with great beach service too!

The condo was nicely renovated and very clean. I love the balcony overlooking the ocean (it’s where I spend the majority of my time when I’m in the condo). Would definitely stay in this rental again

Great Short trip

Nice clean condo with an excellent view of the pool and Gulf of America. The property was landscaped and manicured beautifully with gorgeous plants and flowers throughout, as well as jasmine along the pool fence to provide a nice aroma. The 4th floor was prime because it was easy enough to take the stairs if need be and high enough to see the water without obstruction. Bathrooms were moderately updated. Bedrooms were comfortable. If you plan on cooking, I would recommend bringing your own pan or two as the ones offered are all scratched and in poor condition. 7.5/10 Would stay again.

Great time in Destin

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed at the Islander in unit 405 with our two small children. It was the perfect size and distance from the pools and beach. The unit was clean and everything worked great. Having the beach chairs/umbrella was perfect for trips down the beach but our kids were just fine hanging in the pool too. It was nice to have both options.

August Family Bacation

The staff was very helpful and friendly. You can’t beat the location! Just about a mile and a half away from Target and Winn Dixie, and plenty of good restaurants are within a short driving distance. I would definitely stay at The Islander again.

not my usual enjoyment

Second bedroom dresser drawer fell apart when we put small amount of clothes. tv did not work well.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have stayed at the islander for the last 5-6 years. Our stay was overall good however the new policy is only 4 beach towels per room and when you book the room for 6 well you need 6!! Towel exchange is only a couple days a week which stinks... would prefer to be able to exchange daily if needed. Our room didn’t have enough pillow cases or linens for the pull out couch bed. The staff at the front desk were very friendly and helpful.

Great Beach Service.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We enjoyed our stay, however there were a few things that may need to be improved for future guests. Our unit appeared to have been cleaned, but we found a pair of earrings (turned in to front desk) next to the bed and a Pringles can behind the nightstand in the Main bedroom. There was a large amount of hair stuck to the bottom of the Main bathroom door. This unit could use a deep clean. There was a painting project going on during our stay, and there was a massive communication issue with the workers and the resort staff. We were leaving for dinner one evening and found that we had been sealed in our room with plastic so they could paint. The front desk staff did come up and remove the plastic for us so we did not have to be concerned about getting paint on us. The morning we were checking out, the paint crew was back and had drop cloths and cardboard laying in the walkway in front of our unit. This made it difficult for us to get out as well as a safety concern to walk on. If we had been notified, we would have left our room earlier. There was a note at the desk and on the elevator door letting guests know what was being done each day, but that plan was clearly not followed. The staff was great and very helpful with any issues we had, just no communication between them and the painting contractor. The beach service was among the best we’ve had since we been coming to Destin.

Location was great

Location of this condo was great. We loved being able to walk to the jetty and snorkel. We also watched the Thursday night fireworks sitting on the rocks at the jetty which was amazing. The only problem we had, and this might be personal preference, is that the bed in the master bedroom was very hard and the pillows have definitely seen better days. The twin beds in the second bedroom squeaked so much when you rolled over that it kept my kids awake. My son ended up sleeping on the couch in the living room because of this. The living room furniture is comfortable.

The location was in the middle of everything with access to the beach only a few feet away from my balcony which overlooked the pool and beach. My only complaint is the hallways to get to the rooms were not so clean and contact with maintenance was not very pleasant. Other than that my stay was very good. I would suggest it to others.
