We love to host and please our guests. Old Town San Diego is our passion and we spend a lot of time here. Our careers were with the local telephone company and after retirement we started our work in real estate. It's great to be a part of this community preserving the history in owning our piece of America's Finest City!

Great location and property for our family of 3

  • 5 of 5

Clean and well-appointed. Enjoyed our Spring Break in San Diego with this lovely spot as our base. Walked to restaurants, shops, and more in the historic Old Town neighborhood. Also walked to the Old Town Transit Center, which has "trolley" light rail trains and buses that took us to all the sites - did not need a car.

Wonderful stay

  • 5 of 5

We had a lovely time in San Diego and a big part of it was because of our awesome bungalow that had so much character and our hosts did such a fine job in making sure we had everything we needed and would answer any questions we had. So many great places to eat and everything you may need to cook at home. Thanks so much. Highly recommended!

Absolutley Perfect!

  • 5 of 5

Look no further for the perfect place to not only lay your head but enjoy many of the sights of San Diego within 10-20 minutes of a drive! Such gracious and lovely hosts that were readily available via text for any needs or questions I had. They made fabulous recommendations for places to go and eat. The house itself is quaint and has every creature comfort you could need and then some. By far one of the best properties I have ever stayed at while using this site! I will definitely be back!

Nice place close to Old Town easy transportation

  • 4 of 5

The location was very convenient to San Diego Old Town, trolley and hop on - hop off. Easy walking to transit. Once on train/buses you can get to almost all tourist sites.

The rental unit was clean and well kept. Outside deck was very nice and easy to use. Laundry was on premise but not in the unit so was a little different (also there was a nominal charge that was not explained until we arrived). Only persistent issue was the unit was only equipped with space heaters to heat entire unit. Resorted to using the oven to heat the kitchen. Probably not a problem in San Diego 90% of the time but in January be prepared for some cold mornings.

The owners were very nice and responsive. I would give them a solid score.

Owner's Response: Thanks for taking the time to give us a thoughtful and detailed review and praising our great location. We're sorry that we couldn't earn your 5 star review. We do strive to provide the best for all our valued guests. We do "request" a small $2 fee for the laundry to keep our rates down for everyone. We upgraded from no laundry to a full sized secure laundry room across the breezeway from the kitchen door. We provide laundry supplies and a deep sink & a table for sorting/folding clothes. We also upgraded from the original 1948 small floor gas heater to safer and more efficient temperature controlled heaters that you can "set and forget" to warm the Casita.
