Home was clean and well organized. Easy 10-15 minute commute to the MCRD for family's of new Marines. Kitchen is adequately equipped for cooking your own meals, as we did. Very comfortable space for our group of 8.Very easy communication with Jimmy during our stay when we did have a concern. He was able to help right away.

The house was great! It was a little warm in the afternoons/evenings but opening the door cooled it off rather quickly. The beds were comfortable and the property was nice and clean. The air conditioning in the master bedroom and the guest bathroom fan were very loud but fortunately we didn't need to use them too much. The icemaker in the freezer wasn't working which was a bit of a bummer but overall the property suited our purposes nicely and we enjoyed our stay.

This was the perfect place for our family mini-vacation! Check in & check out was very easy. It was just as the review stated located just a short walk to transit system, near beaches, sea world & quiet street. The home was very pleasant with 3 bedrooms, roll bed & 2 bathrooms. Nice little kitchen with gas stove, nice oven, Mr Coffee drip pot but Starbucks was an enjoyable walk for morning coffee. Nice stacked Washer & Dryer was centrally located & quiet. We enjoyed the 5 minute fireworks show from Sea World each night (going on through Labor Day!) would do it again in a heartbeat!

We were on a family vacation. We were very comfortable and so glad the bedrooms are air conditioned. The host, Jimmy, was easy to reach. The location was close to every place we wanted to go. The description says the washer and dryer are in the garage, but they are inside the house, which is a plus. Yes, we would stay here again.

Fourth of July weekend

The location is great. It is in a reasonable distance of all the attractions San Diego has to offer. The host was very nice and responded very quick. I had a family of 7 and it was a perfect fit. There is no AC throughout the home, it is only in the bedrooms. Also, there is only one TV in the living room and the main bedroom, the other two rooms do not have TVs. Overall it’s a nice place.

Long weekend

Great little house to stay in close to lots of fun things. There are a few different rentals that use the same driveway, but didnt really see anyone else. We stayed with our family of 5 and it had PLENTY of space for us. I would still not have felt crowded with even 8 of uscould have

Host is incredibly kind!

The accommodations were perfect for our party of five, including a room with two beds that 25 year old best friends were able to share while still having their own beds. But even more impressive than the accommodations was the kindness of Jimmy, the host! Our 25 year old daughter had some special medical considerations that Jimmy bent over backwards to help us with so that our daughter was able to join us on this trip! His housekeeper also went above and beyond to help us with the need. Truly special people and I would recommend any home Jimmy manages.

Cozy SoCal Cottage!

My family spent a long weekend in San Diego and enjoyed this house as our respite spot. Comfortable rooms and nice living areas ensured we all got to spend lots of time together. This home offered many amenities that made our stay all the more enjoyable - there is even a piano! This was a great location for us because we found ourselves traveling south to downtown SD and also north to the La Jolla/Del Mar areas and this was a perfect middle spot. The only snafu we encountered was WiFi that could not sustain any connection for our devices or for using the streaming services on the tv. Truly, we enjoyed our stay very much and would likely stay here again in the future!

Lovely vacation

My family and I stayed in the cottage for a week. It was convenient to all the site we wanted to visit. It has a piano which was a great delite for my husband. All of our needs were met. All in all a very good place to stay.

Quick getaway

We loved the location & enjoyed how quickly we could get to see all that we wanted to see. Only issue was Living Room tv was slow to stream & seemed to have WIFI issues, bedroom TV had no issues so we were able to watch Thursday night football in there :) this is my 2nd time renting from host as I had previously stayed in smaller unit. Look forward to booking unit again.

Perfect Place to Stay in San Diego

The house was clean and comfy on a nice, quiet neighborhood. Plenty of extra blankets, sheets, and towels for our family. The kitchen has all of the basic items for cooking. Wonderful location, conveniently located near everywhere we wanted to go. Would definitely choose to stay here again.

Most enjoyable VRBO ever!

We rented this house for a surprise 50th birthday for one of my best friends. It was roomy enough and comfortable for 5 adults to spend the weekend. The owner was very friendly and available any time we needed anything, including running an iron over to us when we needed it and replacing the propane tank on the grill when it was empty. Highly recommend! 10 stars! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I love to travel, and when I first started hosting as a young, single professional in my early 30s, it was a great way to subsidize that passion. Now, I'm a little older, have a family of my own, and a few gray hairs to boot. My traveling habit has unfortunately been reduced as time commitments pile up. So now, this service helps me provide for my family while still allowing me to meet new people from other parts of the world.

As a host, I like to give my guests their space but can be available at a moment's notice (I live 5 minutes away).

I look forward to continuing my vacation rentals to meet new people and share our experiences.

I purchased this property because I was familiar with the neighborhood and it's central location.

Since I've purchase the property I've made many upgrades to it including the following: new flooring, crown molding, brand new bathrooms, and a new mantle piece. I hope you enjoy all the upgrades.

I would say the main benefit to this house is it's proximity to so many wonderful attractions San Diego has to provide. One could argue that it is located in the heart of San Diego.

Additionally, it's near the trolley line (5 minute walk) and the neighbors are super friendly.
