Lovely holiday at villa Athena.

Lovely holiday at villa Athena. Our 3rd visit.Nice coming in October as did not need the air conditioning during the night. It is a 20 minute walk to the restaurants and shops along a very busy road so a car is an advantage. Pool and garden area is clean and tidy. Its also nice and quiet being higher up and away from the beach area of Coral Bay. The owner lives nearby and is friendly and always helpful. Thanks for a lovely holiday.

We stayed in Villa Athina Aug 25. Was supposed to be for 3 weeks. We stayed 8 days.We met Christos, friendly chap. Lives opposite but wasnt intrusive. The villa had the minimum of things required to live there. On first look around cleanliness was good. There were no usual basic necessities you would normally find, such as salt & pepper. A rubbish bags. No spray or kitchen sink cloth. Things previous holiday guests would leave behind or host would leave in a small welcome pack. We had to buy everything from scratch. Christos did put apple juice in the fridge. Although the villa was clean it is in need of a total upgrade. The beds are very uncomfortable, you can feel every spring and very creaky when you move. Bathrooms old. Kitchen units old. Furniture old. The pool was nice, trees all around for privacy but it was a shame they obstructed the view. We found there was a lot of ants outside. Its an old villa so didnt really think anything of it. Only ate breakfast at the villa. As the days progressed we discovered the ants appearing in the kitchen, more everyday. I sprayed ant spray, had no effect. Christos put powder outside. As my daughter her partner and 2 yr old granddaughter was joining us we did not feel happy having to use ant spray inside and ant powder outside. So the overall non comfort of the villa and the ants with spray/powder having to be used we decided to move to a villa that did not require this. Safer for our granddaughter, more comfort for our family.

Villa Athina

Mein Mann und ich verbrachten 2 schöne Wochen in Villa Athina. Das Haus und der Außenbereich sind sehr sauber. Gute Lage mit sea view. Zu Fuß ( ca. 15 min.) sind einige Restaurants, Bars und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten erreichbar. Der Kontakt mit Christos war sehr nett. Herzlicher Empfang trotz später Anreise. Gekühlte Getränke standen bereit. Bei Fragen konnte man sich jederzeit an Christos wenden. Er ist freundlich und hilfsbereit. Auch wurden wir mit frischem Obst aus seinem Garten versorgt. Reinigung und Wäschewechsel nach einer Woche. Danke für einen ganz wunderbaren Aufenthalt. Wir würden Villa Athina jederzeit wieder buchen.

extrême déception

A peine arrivés avec ma fille, un voisin nous "accueille...!" , pas de Richard pourtant notre contact régulier sur Abritel, en nous précisant que les clims ne fonctionnent que dans les chambres et qu'il faut payer en supplément 10€ par jour pour en bénéficier dans le salon qui est forcément la pièce de vie principale. grosse surprise non précisée dans l'annonce!!Au delà de ça, maison totalement dénuée de quoique ce soit, sel, éponges, café, sucre, huile, sopalin absolument rien!!!!..... je n'ai jamais vu ça depuis 20 ans ou j'ai l'habitude de louer sur abritel ou airbnb. Donc courses obligatoires pour tout ,évidemment avec la chance d'un supermarché ouvert . Je tien à préciser que la cuisine est infectée de fourmis qui passent par les joints absents du plan de travail c'était la cerise sur le gâteau. Nous avions loué auparavant une maison à Girne dans la partie turque, aux antipodes!!! Mais cette maison doit convenir parfaitementà la clientèle anglaise cheap, low cost, et peu regardante . Définitivement non, non et non!!

Ideal location in a peaceful area with a great sea view

Can’t say enough. Such a lovely area, nice and quiet yet only 2 mins in the car to Coral Bay beach, shops and restaurants. Will definitely return. Thank you Cristos!

I cant say enough about this villa and its location. My family recently returned home from the property and had the best time! The villa and Coral Bay - Paphos were perfect for my family. We loved alternating days between exploring different beaches and having relaxing days at the villa. There are many excellent beaches near and around Coral Bay is a huge selection of restaurants, cafes, bars, and shops. There are also great restaurants, bars, and a supermarket within a few minutes walk from the villa and the sea is only 10 minutes walk away. The town is very charming and clean and ideal for a family. The villa had everything we needed. I havent felt so relaxed and connected to a place in a long time. The villa was spotless on arrival and extremely cozy. The beds were nice and we all had a good nights rest. Working with Agni Travel was also great as they were also a quick phone call away to answer any questions. Overall, highly recommended. You are sure to be satisfied and relaxed during a stay in this villa.

We spend our holidays in this house for several years (sometimes 2 times per year). Its every time like coming home. We love the house (in- and outside) and the location. There is no noise, and in 10 min walk, you are at the promenade/beach with all the shops and restaurants. Coral Bay - Paphos is a great place, almost all the time we were outside exploring the area and enjoyed the tasty food at the local restaurants. You have to try the Cyprus cuisine while you are there. Its the perfect place for a relaxed holiday. WE WILL COME BACK!

The Villa was overall stunning and provided us with a memorable stay. We had great service from Agni Travel. It was perfect for us, with plenty of room for a family of 4. There are 2 supermarkets not far from the villa, where you can buy everything you need.

We enjoyed our holiday very much and found Villa Athina to be exceptionally clean and comfortable in a very convenient and peaceful location with lovely sea views. Kristos the owner was the perfect host. He welcomed us on our arrival and was always on hand for any problems that might arise. but he left us in peace to enjoy the villa and its lovely clean pool and garden. We had to call on him once when our electric shorted out but he immediately sorted it out for us. Kristos and his family all help to keep the villa and its surroundings in beautiful condition. We will definitely be booking to stay again the near future.

Pleasant quiet villa in nice location. Relatively close to restaurants and souvenir shops although we were very grateful we had a car. Villa has potential just needs a little maintenance. Locals very friendly.
