TV with Norwegian and Nordic channels via CanalDigital and Astra1 for German and international TV channels. Internet for surfing only. The nearest grocery store and restaurant is in Volda, approx. 20 km from the holiday home. Fyrde is the perfect place to combine fishing in the fjord and great mountain hikes up to 1484 masl. On Austefjordeggen, a mountain range along the fjord, you can experience total silence together with a view of the alpine mountains and the fjord. Within an hour's drive from the holiday home are Olden, Loen with "Loen skylift", Briksdalsbreen, Nordfjordeid with Norway's largest Viking ship Myklebustskipet, Hjørungfjorden and especially the village Trandal which is known for its festivals during the summer months. Fishing in fresh water for salmon, trout, and char: Mørevassdraget (fishing license) consisting of Kalvatn 6 km and Fyrdeselva 4 km from the holiday home. The Austefjord is one of the best fishing fjords in Norway. Covered filleting area for fish with running water and light. Life jackets are included in boat rental. Boats for rent: 2x 15 foot Øien535 with 15 HP Honda. 1x 15 foot boat with 6 HP engine
