The area is perfect for exploring different parts of Galicia; it’s less than 100 meters from an optional train stop, 2 km from Redondela, and 15 km from both Pontevedra and Vigo.
The Portuguese Way to Santiago runs about a 15-minute walk from the house.

Cesantes Beach is one of the best spots in Galicia for windsurfing and kitesurfing, and numerous competitions in these disciplines are held there due to its ideal conditions.
