Great location and such a pretty compound!
We loved the grounds of this place and that it was so private. There are only 3 cottages and the main house where the hosts live. The pool is beautiful and the landscaping is amazing. Mark and Priscilla are wonderful hosts who was always available and it was lovely getting to spend time with them. The upper cottage was set up nicely. Both Mark and Priscilla have their art work on the walls and as both are good artists, it was nice to have that.Although the listings says that there is air conditioning, like most of the places in Barbados, that air con is only in the bedroom. The apartment gets quite hot. The listing need to be updated to state that the air con is only in the bedroom as, when we were comparing places, we picked this one thinking that the entire cottage has air, based on the listing.We were told that there had been a quick turn around to prepare our place. We wish that the cottage had been checked prior to our check-in as it was not really ready for us. We had to ask for the cleaner to come back as it was dirty. The cleaner needs to be fired or trained. The light on the kitchen table has so much dust on it, it looks like fur. We had to wash every plate, glass, coffee cup, and the utensils before we could use them.It would be nice to have a baking sheet to use in the oven. It would also be super to have a couple of loungers at the pool.Overall, we enjoyed our stay and really liked our hosts.
