Also known as the Ringelnatz town, it has a meticulously restored town centre with picturesque alleys, buildings and squares. The impressive mill towers shape the entire townscape and are considered the town’s secret landmark.

The Ecumenical Jacob Pilgrimage Route and the Via Regia, one of the oldest and longest land connections between Eastern and Western Europe, pass through Wurzen.
