NEW Monpazier Glamping safari tent family site Experience the great outdoors
Come and stay in our Glamping Site : 5 large safari lodges 35m² + terrasse set on a 3 hectares field, boarded with ancient oaks, a heated swimming pool, kids playground, and a small guinguette. Staying in a safari lodge is a luxurious way to experience camping, you'll feel close to nature , in a fully equipped accomodation, with comfortable beds, a bathroom with shower and toilet, and a simple kitchen ( 4 gaz hob, table top fridge & toaster ).
The large covered terrace is ideal to seat down for a drink or read a book , or simply enjoy the view, while the kitchen is large enough to have family dîners. The lodges spaced out and set on 200m2 grassed areas, overlooking a quiet rural valley.
We will welcome you like at home. We bought the field opposite our home in the smallest village of the Dordogne in september 2018 , and Garreth has been busy landscaping and building the site and amenities. We had hoped to open in 2021 but Covid delayed our plans , we are very excited to welcome you for a stay connected to nature and simple family pleasures such as a game of water volley in the pool , or watching the stars, sharing grilled marshmallows, or a game of petanque. We are Dad Garreth from england , Mum Caroline from france and our 3 'périgourdins' boys : Elliot 12 yrs old, Léo 10 yrs old and Owen 9 yrs old. We live in Saint-Cassien the smallest village of the Dordogne with about 30 inhabitants. We have always loved working in holiday and leisure, and had this dream of creating our own site. We bought the field opposite our home in september 2018 , and after obtaining all the planning permissions, Garreth got busy landscaping and building the site, its amenities and accommodations. We had hoped to open in 2021 but Covid delayed our plans. Nevermind we are now super ready and eager to open from 27 March 2022.

What you will find at Le Pré des Chênes is a friendly , peaceful atmosphere as well as beautiful landscapes. Having a limited number of people (max 80 ), makes it a friendly safe environement for you and your family , you'll get to slow down, unwind, meet great people and share special moments. We know the area and the locals very well and will be happy to share all our good contacts with you :)
