A lovely property so close to the vaporetto stop on the Grand Canal. This stop serves the local ACTV service and the Alilaguna link direct from the airport. Communication with the host agency was first class and done through WhatsApp.
We loved this Dorsoduro location with a couple of squares within a one to five minute walk offering a number of restaurants for dining. There is a mini supermarket, bakery, pharmacy and plenty of bars just a short stroll away.
The Rialto bridge is a 20 minute walk and St Mark's Square and the Doge's Place a similar distance.
The apartment felt safe and secure and was very clean. The decor was very tasteful and the furniture fitted well with the vibe of this beautiful city. The kitchen was well equipped although we only used it for breakfast and sometimes a light lunch, choosing to eat out in the evening. The bed was very comfortable and spacious (a super king size).
The internet connection was lightning fast (838 Mbps down and 517 Mbps up). I would mention that, despite the narrow alleyways and four storey buildings of Venice, we had 5G cellular coverage most of the time.
If we should return to Venice, we would not hesitate to rebook this apartment.
