La Loggia du Doge à Venise

Quartier le plus recherché de Venise, très central, à seulement 3 minutes à pied de la place San Marco et tout autour des riches magasins, théâtres, restaurants et vie nocturne, Rialto avec le célèbre marché et le pont Accademia avec les meilleurs musées et galeries. La Loggia del Doge est située dans le quartier de San Marco, le plus petit quartier mais le plus précieux. L'appartement appartient à un bel immeuble ancien de Venise. Palais vénitien de style gothique, magnifique édifice du XVIIIe siècle. Appartement luxueux, très ensoleillé et lumineux donnant sur la place en bas. L'appartement a deux belles terrasses, un beau parquet et des tapis orientaux. Les chambres ont été luxueusement meublées d'antiquités et décorées de belles peintures à l'huile. On pensait, selon une note historique, que le Doge avait l'habitude de rester dans cette maison avec son amant.

The apartment is perfectly located, between Rialto and San Marco, with many good choices close by for eating (on the way to San Marco) and food shopping (along the Grand Canal). The apartment itself is like you were staying at a relative's place while they were out of town (and I mean that in a nice way). Even though it was quite hot while we were in Venice, the AC kept the place cool. The main bed was very comfortable and we enjoyed sitting out on both balconies. Veronica was very easy to communicate with through Whatsapp and she should get extra points for having manuals available for all of the appliances. This made dish and clothes washing easy.

We had a lovely stay (5 nights) in a great location, between Rialto and S. Marco, just a few minutes walk to either.(During the high season might be a bit loud, but it was great for us.) It's a cozy apartment with almost everything that you'd need. We loved looking over the small piazza below as it changed throughout the day.

Location is beyond perfect!! Right where you want to be - near all the sights. Apartment is old world & charming. Great terrace to enjoy the sunshine & have a glass of wine. One thing that was tough - mattresses are VERY firm. I mean very. Pillows are a bit sad and flat but we did find a couple others in armoire that were a bit better. More pillow options & a mattress topper would be great!

Close to all main attractions and very clean and enjoyable unit. Has 2 outdoor balconies to enjoy fresh air and a beverage. Coffee shops and eateries all within walking distance.

Great location, Charming apartment

This apartment is charming and sit in a great location. Very close to Rialto Bridge and St. Mark's Square, great restaurants. Take a water taxi from the train station. Water bus takes too long, paying the extra for a taxi is worth the money!

San Marco the wonderful!

Lovely apartment! Our greeter was very helpful and took me out for a drink before leaving us. Not one, but two terraces. Tiny but effective elevator. I highly recommend this VRBO.

Everything you need in the Heart of Venice

Just Wow! This home was so perfect in every way! Our host was so accommodating and thought of everything we needed. The location was outstanding and we barely needed to use the vapparettos (water taxis). We loved the balconies to sit and enjoy our morning caffe or evening wine. Would love to come to this apartment again!

A very special, cosy and authentic Venetian flat!

This is not a sterile flat that has been renovated just for tourists and has no ‘soul’ of its own. No, you are moving into a flat that was inhabited by Venetians just like this until a few years ago. It's like being ‘beamed’ into another time and another world.The central location is great – there are probably parts of Venice where fewer tourists go, but is the infrastructure there also as good, the nearby vaporetto station, the good bakery around the corner, the nearby large Despar supermarket and much more?Thank you also for the good and friendly service provided by Veronica and Michele! Perhaps a small request to the hosts: The cupboards, chests of drawers and shelves are overflowing with with bed linen and towels, small knick-knacks, vases, etc. from the previous residents. Perhaps you could do without some of these things so that there are more options for storing clothes or simply placing other items on free surfaces?

Traumwohnung

Diese Wohnung in einem Palazzo mitten in Venedig ist einfach wunderschön, es ist alles genau wie beschrieben. Die Klimaanlage hat uns die tropischen Nächte erträglich gemacht. Die Lage ist perfekt, 5 Minuten zur Rialtobrücke, 5 Minuten zum Markusplatz. Die Kommunikation mit der Vermieterin war super und der Empfang war sehr nett und informativ. Danke Veronica
