Overall, we were pleased with our stay at this property. The house met our expectations and the listing/pictures were accurate. We had a family wedding and a mini-reunion, and had 10 people staying in the house. It served our purposes well, as we had a nice place to visit, cook meals, and hang out as a family which we wouldn't have had if we had stayed in a hotel.
The beds were generally comfortable, although the king bed in the master bedroom was a bit soft for some people's likings. The two queen beds downstairs are made of stiff memory foam, which was pretty firm. The lone king bed downstairs was medium-soft as advertised, so there are a variety of bed firmnesses for different sleeping preferences. The only issue a large group might find is that although the house is billed to sleep up to 12, there really is only enough room to seat 6 people at the dining room table. The rest of the family has to eat on couches, which can be a challenge depending on what is served (ie-hard to cut steak on your lap on a paper plate). But that was the only real issue for a large group. The living space in the house is more than adequate for 10-12 people to hang out and live together without feeling overly crowded. The den/play room downstairs was nice for the kids to burn off energy while the adults could still visit upstairs. The view of the river is excellent, and was beautiful and serene. Kristy, the property manager, was helpful and brought us extra supplies when we ran out. Overall, we were pleased with our stay.
