Paradise Villa is approved by Greek Tourism Organisation & managed by "etouri vacation rental management".


Located in Prines village, just a short drive away from Rethymno Old town and its long sandy beach, Paradise Villa has a total of 335 sq. m., and it can accommodate 14 guests in its 7 bedrooms and up to 16 guests if necessary.


Ground Floor
Entering through the main entrance, youll find five of the seven en-suite bedrooms, each with a Queen-size bed and access to a private balcony, as well as a storage room with a washing machine.


First Floor
The first floor features a spacious living room and a fully equipped kitchen with direct access to a veranda, complete with a dining area for up to 16 guests, plus a guest WC.


Lower Floor
Downstairs, the lower floor offers two additional en-suite bedrooms with Queen-size beds, a small kitchen, a fully equipped gym, a home cinema for your entertainment, and an extra guest WC.


Outdoor area
Furthermore, the outdoor area of Paradise Villa offers several amenities, including:
- A private swimming pool. The pool terrace features a lawn covered area equipped with 16 sun beds and umbrellas, as well as a seating area an outdoor shower.
- A 4-seater hot tub is also available next to the pool.
- Fully equipped barbecue facilities with charcoal grill and an outdoor sink.
- Spacious terrace with some outdoor toys, where kids can play.
- Parking space for 4 cars.
- The villa is fenced and offers privacy to our guests.


**Accommodation cost excludes Climate Resilience Tax. The amount for the accommodation type is set at EUR15 per night from April to October and EUR4 per night from November to March, payable upon check-in.

Maison agréable à vivre

Nous étions 3 familles (6 adultes ,8 adolescents) . Nous avons passé 10 jours trÚs agréables.Maison trÚs bien équipée et bien placé pour rayonner sur la zone de rethymno. Le village de Prines possÚde d'excellentes tavernes. Merci à Amilia pour sa disponibilité pour quelques soucis du quotidien.

A fabulous place to stay

We were a group of 7 adults and 7 teenagers. We had 14 nights here and loved it. The property is effectively 2 semi detached houses, with access between the 2 via the top floor balcony and via the ground floor garden and pool area. There were plenty of sun beds, and the hot tub fitted 7 of us at a push. Hosts were attentive, and cleaning was punctual and thorough, every 3 days. Due to Covid they wanted us out of the house, so we were poolside once, and out on excursions at other times. We cooked on the bbq a few times, and they left us a large bag of coals which was thoughtful. You will need a car to go anywhere. Rethymnon is a long hike, along roads with only occasional foot paths. Not a pleasant walk. There are 3 great restaurants a 5 min walk away, and Yanis on the right hand side with a large outside courtyard eating area was fabulous. There is a large Lidl 10 min drive, on way to Rethymnon, which had everything we needed. A couple of minor issues...we found ourselves a little short of kitchen equipment - cutlery, knives for prepping food, glasses. Plastic pool cups would have been good, rather than taking glass poolside (we bought reusable coffee cups from Lidl). There are are 2 half size dishwashers, one in each kitchen, and full size ones would have been handy. And the pool cue was useless so we didn't play pool as much as we might have. But these are minor issues, and overall I would certainly recommend the villa. It's a good base between Iraklion to the East and Chania to the West. Rethymon old town is lovely with lots of restaurants and shops. The Venetian Harbour is beautiful. Thank you to the hosts for helping make it a memorable holiday.

Satisfied with the residence

Overall we are very satisfied with our stay, on-site everything corresponded to the pictures and description of the house on Vrbo, very helpful owner, cleaning twice during our two-week stay, and very good care from travel agency e-touri.

Great family holiday, 2 weeks in July 2019. 13 of us ranging from 6-69 years old. Wonderful!

Car hire essential from airport, we had three Corsas for 2 weeks, easy drive on dual carriageway, directions were easy to follow. Aimilia the concierge met us upon arrival and conducted tour of Villa, she was always contactable with mobile number if needed and sent texts when we were to expect maids. Paradise is actually 2 villas semi detached but access to each is either on the ground floor or top floor, It worked fine and we moved the tables on the terraces together to eat. Villa extremely well equipped, maids cleaned, changed bed linen, towels every three days. 4 big bathrooms and 4 toilet washrooms. Pool, hut tub maintained. Family room/ kitchen on top floor leading to terrace which caught breeze was perfect for family meals. Air con made sleeping comfortable. In fact the villa was as described online. Robert at Etouri sent emails offering ideas/treats for outings and helped with general information. Plenty of places to visit, pick up leaflets or research on Google, beaches we visited were lovely and clean with amenities. Usually if you bought a drink sunbeds and brollys were free. ( Not in Rythmno) Rythmno is lively day and night, Knossos l found was well worth a trip, waterparks were wet:-) !!!!!!!! Younger members of family enjoyed. We all did our own thing hence 3 cars, it worked very well but we managed to eat together in the evenings. We made more wonderful memories as a family, everyone relaxed and had a really great holiday. For us it was Paradise!

Excellent basis to explore Crete

Aimilia’s duo villa named Paradise is an excellent place to stay if you’re travelling with two families with kids: two living units with a joint garden with pool and jacuzzi and a rooftop terrace that offers a breathtaking view of the Rethymno coast from sunrise to sunset. From the villa tucked on the mountain side just off Rethymno we explored Crete from Iraklion to Chania and from Rethymno to Plakias and the Samaria Gorge. It was always nice to come back there after a daytrip: the house was cleaned and linen changed every couple of days. The 2 kitchens are well equipped with big fridges and there is a fireplace in the garden. In case of any need Aimilia is just a Whatsapp message away to try to help. And in case you don’t feel like cooking your own meal, I can recommend to walk into the Prines village center to enjoy some of the best Greek hospitality and food on offer from Yannis at Giannikkos Taberna. We spent 13 very enjoyable days in the villa and would recommend it to any larger group that wants to have a comfortable and peaceful basis to explore Crete.

It is a perfect place to stay for a family of 14 like ours; it could easily accommodate more

The villa(s) is/are beautifully situated and well equipped, the view is superb. We appreciated the warm welcome. We liked the swimming-pool and heated outdoor whirl-bath, the billiards-room and the gym. It was much more than we had expected and certainly worth the money.

The best holiday and nicest villa i've been too

I took a university mountaineering group to the island and we stayed at Villa Paradise. The club normally goes away every year to another country to climb. This year the accommodation (Villa Paradise) we stayed at was the best hands down. The manager of the property gave me a lot of guidance about Crete, which really made our stay less stressful. The owners daughter was very kind and made us feel very welcome. We had complimentary wine, olive oil, fruits and snacks. The Villa was very clean and tidy. If we had any problems the owners daughter sorted it out straight away. Overall this was the best holiday and was the least stress free I've had booking accommodation in the UK and abroad.

Great place for a holiday with a group

We just came back from a great holiday in Crete. The villa (actually two villa's that are connected) is well maintained and well equipped and suitable for a large group of up to 18 people. It has a nice swimming pool, hot tub, pool table, gym, BBQ, playhouse and slide for toddlers, and parking space for multiple cars. Both the owner and the property manager are very friendly and helpful and the communication went very smoothly as they both speak English really well. Bed linnen and towels were frequently changed during our stay and the owner even made an appointment to clean the Villa during our stay, which was really appreciated. The villa is located in a small village with a nice Taverna. Rethymno, supermarkets and nice quiet sandy beaches are nearby as well.

Great villa, great location, great holiday

Very impressed with the villa, absolutely massive, and for a group of 14 it was amazing. The pool was great, but it was a shame that the hot tub was broken at the time we stayed (didn't really miss it though). Kitchens were both very well equipped, and the BBQ was great. The views from the balcony were insane and made every evening special. Very clean, and the air con was a god send. I would definitely recommend staying at Villa Paradise. It is worth getting a car for trips to the supermarket and to the beaches. Rethymno is a lovely town as well, but we found the buses turned up when they wanted to, rather than following the timetable, so having a car was very helpful. Taxis were also very cheap so if you wanted a night out in Rethymno without a designated driver, you don't have to worry about taxi prices. Thank you from all of us!

excellent holiday

We were first guests of villa Paradise and I want to say that it was real Paradise! first of all hospitality of the owner - Amilia was very friendly, helpful and attentive. She took me by the car to show surroundings, shops, beaches etc. Also she brought everything for our 3 babies. About the house: it is very big and beautiful! kitchen is well equipped, everything was new and clear. Pool was also very clean and comfortable. children have spent a lot of time there! There were a lot of wide and tranquil beaches not far then 15 min by car. Also we have walked in Rethimno and it was very nice. i will highly recommend villa Paradise to everyone who wants to visit Crete!
