Welcome to a fragile journey into the past and the present! Once a guest arrives at the front door of SteMa Residence, it is certain that he is not prepared for what he will encounter when he enters. It is a magnificent mansion, which was very carefully renovated with respect, retaining many of its original elements, but adapted to the requirements of modern life.
Let us introduce you to this wonderful holiday mansion!
The Residence
This very old but incredible building once belonged to a family that lived happily ever after.
Now, SteMa Residence, this wonderful two-story mansion, was fully renovated with respect and offered to its guests, in order to create their own memories from their vacation and the time they spent together. The owners chose to retain many of its original features and managed to successfully combine old and new, past and present.
Indoors:
Entering SteMa Residence there is the living room area with the big comfortable blue sofa, which comes in absolute but somehow harmonious contrast to the original stone wall of the house. Right opposite the sofa there is the fireplace, with the shape and the color of a typical fireplace in a Cretan family home of the last century. Even though it is not functional as a fireplace, its decorative presence is there to introduce to the guests the culture of a past time.
A couple of steps further, there is the fully equipped, modern kitchen with white drawers and cabinets, ready to prepare and enjoy every meal.
The kitchen is adorned by an elegant white round table and colorful chairs that bring life to the space. Behind the table, there is a small, elegant bookcase that was placed in a frame that – most likely – was a window.
Going a bit further exploring the ground floor, there is a cozy, full of light patio with a stylish, wooden sunlounger and two chairs with a table, where our guests can enjoy a fresh cup of coffee or a glass of good wine accompanied by the music of their preference.
Following the stairs to the first floor, where the bedrooms are located, there is a small seating area that lights up the space with two green armchairs, a colorful rug, and an original red chest of drawers.
Right opposite there is a big black wardrobe with full-body mirrors. The bright bedroom with the queen-size bed in the next room. The window of that bedroom overlooks the street and it is the original window of the mansion.

On the other side of the floor, following the inner balcony, there is the second bedroom, which also has a queen-size bed. Both bedrooms have air conditioning.
Outdoors:
Leaving the second bedroom, there is a staircase. The stairway to heaven, one could say.
Those stairs lead to the roof terrace, where a stylish and chic outdoor living area with comfortable furniture is, for our guests to enjoy magical nights under the stars.
The unspeakable, 360 views, of the village from above, the sea, and the mountains are the masterpiece of this unique mansion. The metallic pergola with the fabrics, allows our guests to enjoy these magnificent views every hour of the day.
