BAIRRO ALTO MUSIC GUEST HOUSE BRAHMS

The Music Guest House, located in Lisbon's most iconic districts: Chiado and Bairro Alto, features eight guestrooms spread over two floors, including one single room and one suite.

Bairro Alto Music GuestHouse provides air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi, express check-in and check-out and a private bathroom with an oversized shower, the perfect choice for a short stay.

Located next to the famous Conservatorio Nacional, a music school founded in 1837 inspired the design of the rooms to translate the music and Lisbon mood through its textures, colours, and materials.

As a 100% Portuguese company, and to give our guests a deeper taste of Portugal, we chose Portuguese brands to create this Guest House, architecture, design, decoration, ceramics, textiles, amenities. Portuguese architects and designers created exclusive art pieces and developed a particular mood, taking the guesthouse name and location next to Conservatório (Music School) into account.

Great stay for a night in Lisbon

On the edge of all the bars in Bairro Alto, so convenient but not too loud. A small but clean and nice place so good for a solo night or two stay in this neighborhood of Lisbon. Not too far from the train station too.

Easy to find with google maps. Easy to come and go and good location. Has everything you need for the price. The rooms are small, not a lot of space for luggage. Has a fridge but no cutlery, bowls, etc. There is an espresso machine!

The room and bathroom are lovely and the location is fantastic! Great experience overall! If you have a car, research parking options in advance and make sure the parking garage of your choice is open. We had a heck of a time finding parking but we're so happy with the place itself.

Intimate and Cozy

The One bedroom apartment with Bath was clean, intimate and cozy. The location was close enough to the restaurants and nite life and at the same time far enough from the noise. Entry to and from the apartment was very simple. We were 20 min walking distance from all neighbourhoods, restaurants, shopping, train station and river. Ideal location for anything that would interest you.

Great space for a Lisbon trip!

The space was perfect for my short Lisbon stay. I LOVED being close to the Alfama district. So many genuine shops owned by Portuguese locals with goods created by Portuguese creatives. Perfect area to get to know the culture and meet incredible people. It was very noisy the night I was there but I don’t get the impression that was normal. Easy check in instructions.

Great location, lovely room.

My husband and I stayed in the Brahms Room. The room was adequately sized and very clean. The bathroom was nice and quite spacious. We are walkers and we found the location to be perfect for anywhere we wanted to go. Filipa was a great hostess and rapidly responsive any time that I contacted her. My only tiny negative comment is that it was not always so fast to get into the room with the door codes. The. System was a little finicky. But it always eventually worked. One just has to wait a bit between tries.
