The apartment is located on the third floor of a historic building and can be reached by climbing a common staircase.
It is spread over two levels and consists of a bedroom on the lower floor and a living area with sofa bed, kitchen and bathroom on the upper floor.

It has all modern amenities including a fully equipped kitchen, Wi-Fi and Tv.

The apartment is furnished with a sober and comfortable style, but the highlight is certainly the terrace with a 360 ° view of the towers of Lucca. A real hidden corner where you can spend pleasant moments of relaxation before setting off to discover Lucca and its surroundings.

We had been in Italy two days, landing in Rome and visiting an old friend in Rapallo, before arriving in Lucca. We were tired, and it was hot. For our first visit to the ancient city, Terrazza San Michele was an ideal location to enjoy shopping, restaurants, historical sites, and to experience the Lucca Summer Music Festival (a bottle of wine and pizza on the roof terrace, and The Pet Shop Boys a block away!).The property is wonderfully clean, as well. The only challenges we had were with the heat (no air conditioning) and mosquitos that made leaving windows open a gamble.

Location was excellent. Accommodation spacious and clean. Pretty welll equipped in the kitchen. Comfortable enough for a short stay although the sofa and roof terrace furniture aren't the most comfortable. The company who deal with the property do message back on issues but nothing got dealt with during our stay so we had no working light on the roof terrace which was a big disappointment. The heating didn't work so wasn't particularly warm in the apartment but hopefully this issue will be dealt with before the next guests arrive.Please remember to take the keys with you (thankfully we did) as the electronic door to first and second door didn't always open when pressing the button. A missed opportunity was the lack of a welcoming package and what was there was incredibly minimal - 1 sponge, 2 toilet roĺls and very small amount of washing up liquid. No tea/coffee/olive oil etc there. No map or suggestions of best places to eat.
