It was a pleasure to stay at 2 Old Home Farm Cottage. The place was very clean and well organised with a nice welcome package when we arrived.The cottage was very spacious with room for 2 children and 4 adults. We really enjoyed walking the vast grounds that surrounded the cottage including the private path to the beach.We would definitely like to stay again in the future.

The house is in a private, beautiful location. There is no internet connection outside the house, and there is no service in that location. In general, the house is very good, with a complete kitchen and fully furnished with everything you could need while on holiday. The sofas are in need of replacement as they are very worn; the carpets also need cleaning. The shower room on the ground floor was blocked, and the first time we used it flooded the shower room. We noticed a plunger behind the toilet and had to use it every time we were showering. The curtains in the ground bedroom were coming off the rail, and the room would benefit from some redecoration. Other than these, it is a nice property and accommodates a large family very well.

The property was ideal for us as a family of eight adults & a dog. Beds were as requested. The ground floor bedroom is not en-suite as advertised you need to go through lounge/dining room to access shower & toilet facilities off the kitchen . One bedroom on 1st floor was en-suite . Plenty of cups etc in kitchen. Couple of negative points 1. Toilet seat in ground floor bathroom was loose. 2. Ground floor bedroom could do with a few repairs to wall behind headboard. 3. Bird droppings where key safe is situated need to be cleared away & area washed. Garden was ideal for us all & dog. Overall it was adequate for our needs.

Lovely property

Having stayed at Rousdon before we knew what to expect. Great venue, dense sea mist constant which made walking my two Shih Tzus in the evening a little disconcerting having been a fan of John Carpenter and his 1980 production of "The Fog". But no Jamie Lee Curtis screaming; which would have sent my canine ladies barking and didn't go swimming this time. Welcome pack nice but glad we brought essentials as no milk or bread and couldn't find condiments until we were leaving. Would revisit but garden isn't small dog proof. Would give it 85% Wish I had known about The Ruesdon estate ten years ago.
