There is the possibility to choose both equipped beaches and free beach. The house is ideal for a relaxing holiday, the sea and healthy night fun.

Such a lovely community

We stayed for a week in Monopoli, and could not have asked for a better experience. Giacomo make the check in and check out extremely easy. The apartment was in the best location possible, just steps to the castle and Old port. It was clean and had everything we needed. Go to the restaurant across from the apartment Al Vicoletto. It is literally 5 steps away! Best food and service in the city! The rooftop terrace was so nice to sit and watch the sunset and have an apreritivo before dinner. We will be back!
Make sure to go watch the sunset at the lighthouse. We captured this picture just the sun was setting. Words don't describe this enough!
Wine on the terrace is a necessity!

Cosy flat with amazing shared rooftop terrace and perfect location

Due to some clashing booking issues, Giacomo moved us to his other flat in the same property. We stayed in the flat for a week. The flat was on the small side, but cosy and it had a cute terrace with sea view - on top of the truly incredible rooftop terrace shared with the neighbours. You have to get out of the flat and climb a tiny and slightly steep staircase to get to that one, but it is truly magnificient. The kitchen was a bit basic (no toaster, no oven although microwave does grill), but we were there on holidays and ate out a lot of the time. Monopoli is a truly incredible city full of amazing bars, cafes and restaurants. And Giacomo is the perfect host, very responsive and helpful. Thanks again for a great stay!

Giacomo is Great!

Wonderful spot along the Monopoli / Mediterranean sea. I did a 10 day stay from June 26 thru July 6. A grocery store just down the way. The weather was 90 degree plus and sun all the time. Food just perfect. Lots of fun! Now just realize the Monopoli beaches are not like Miami or Daytona , so you need to be inventive. I finally found a spot for me to swim off the rocks along the walkway. Pretty cool. And you have some stairs up to this apartment , so work out a bit before. Any help you need Giacomo is there. Great location, lovely city

The good things about the apartment were it’s very good location, also quiet which was a surprise considering it was in the heart of the town. The A/C worked well and was quiet. The wi-fi was good too and the bed was comfy. It does mention that it sleeps 6 but it was only my wife and I there and it was cosy. Even with small children there it would have been unbearable, let alone 6 adults. The roof terrace is nothing like the photo shows it to be. None of the furniture pictured is there except for the white plastic chairs which were all stacked up in a corner needing a thorough clean. There was no umbrella and nowhere in the shade all day. The checking out time of 9am is ridiculous especially if your flight is at 6pm which ours was. May I suggest a checking out time of 12 noon and checking in at 3pm, like every other place I have stayed in. (We did ask for a later time but it was unavailable) Paul Murray

Nice and cozy apartment with wonderful terrace view and perfect location.

We spent there one memorable week. Apartment was really cozy, clean and fully equipped. Spacious roof terrace has fantastic view to the sea and partly to the old town. We enjoyed it every morning and evening. For sure as it is old house the stairs to the terrace are quite steep and you have to be careful to get up. If you want to live in a heart of Monopoli old town and 50 meters from seafront this is a right choice even if you have to walk ~10min to the parking (if you came by car). Only one inconvenience was check-out at 10:00 am, although it was agreed 11:00 am. Anyway, owner Giacomo was very hospitable and helpful. Our suggestion could be to announce total rental amount for apartment at booking time for all services and taxes, i.e. cleaning fee etc, than to count it on check-out. Definitely we can highly recommend this place to stay in fabulous Monopoli.

Zentral mit stimmungsvoller Meeraussicht

- direkt am alten Kastell gelegen, im historischen Teil von Monopoli - parken ist kostenlos außerhalb der historischen Zentrums, in 8 Gehminuten möglich - in der Wohnung alles enthalten, was benötigt wird; grundsätzlich saubere Wohnung - zuvorkommender, freundlicher Vermieter, der auch rudimentär englisch spricht (ohne Kritik: für süditalienische Verhältnisse sehr gutes englisch) - die eine Wohnung selber hat nur eine Aussicht in den Innenhof (eine andere, etwas kleinere mit kleinem Balkon zum Kastellplatz), über sehr schmale und steile Treppenhausstufen geht es nach oben zur Dachterrasse. Von dort stimmungsvoller Blick auf das alte Kastell und einen Hafenteil sowie das Meer. Diese Dachterrasse kann grundsätzlich von den Benutzern der 3 Ferienwohnungen im Haus genutzt werden. - wir waren im Herbst dort. Die vielen Klimaanlagen, die auf der Dachterrasse installiert waren, waren nicht im Betrieb. Im Sommer könnte es sein, dass es dann etwas lauter wird durch deren Betrieb. Bei uns war bei 25 ° C Außentemperatur keine in Betrieb. - bei uns Standen schöne Holzstühle und Liegen mit neuen Auflagen auf der Dachterrasse zur Verfügung. - in direkter Nachbarschaft gibt es kleine Alimentari zum Einkaufen, viele Ristorante auch dort. Ansonsten in 10 Fußminuten entfernt auch kleinere Supermärkte. Wir haben uns dort sehr wohl gefühlt, insbesondere durch die Dachterrasse bedingt.

Wohnung im historischen Zentrum mit Dachterrasse

Die Wohnung ist wirklich "im Herzen von Monopoli". Von der Dachterrasse aus hat man einen wunderbaren Blick aufs Meer. Alle Restaurants und Bars (von beidem gibt es in Monopoli ausreichend, davon viele auf sehr hohem Niveau) sind in wenigen Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar oder manche sogar direkt vor der Haustür. Wenn man per Mietwagen anreist, gibt es eine kostenfreien Parkplatz ca. 10 Minuten von der Wohnung entfernt. Da haben wir uns mit Giacomo getroffen und sind gemeinsam zur Wohnung gelaufen. Er hat uns alles sehr gut erklärt und war sehr hilfsbereit, als wir Probleme mit dem WLAN hatten. Die Wohnung ist sehr sehr sauber und es ist alles vorhanden, was man im Urlaub benötigt. Für mehr als 2 Personen würde ich sie allerdings nicht empfehlen. Man muss gut zu Fuß sein, da die Treppen zur Wohnung und zur Dachterrasse recht eng und steil sind. Wir haben uns in Monopoli sehr wohl gefühlt.

Wundervoller Urlaub in Monopoli

Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Urlaub in Monopoli. Die Wohnung war sehr sauber und funktionell eingerichtet. Die Terasse mit Blick auf den Hafen war ein Traum . Wir hatten das Glück Festa della Madonna und Ferragosto zu erleben, das abschließende Feuerwerk was das Schönste was wir je gesehen haben! Giacomo war ein sehr hilfsbereiter und zuvorkommender Vermieter, er hatte viele Tips und war jeder Zeit erreichbar. Mitten in der Altstadt zu wohnen hat viele Vorteile, man ist mitten drin im italienischen Leben, kann viele Bars und Restaurants zu Fuß erreichen , der einzige Nachteil ist der fehlende Parkplatz. In der Umgebung gibt es Parkmöglichkeiten, doch im August ist es dort sehr schwierig einen Parkplatz zu bekommen. Die Strände sind sauber und das Meer ist kristallklar, perfekt zum Schnorcheln! Schoon goede locatie maar terras is lastig te bereiken.

Het appartement zelf is goed niet geschikt voor 6 personen. Voor ouderen en mensen slecht ter been niet geschikt. Het terras is moeilijk te bereiken via een gevaarlijke trap. Zeker ook voor kleine kinderen gevaarlijk. De plek van het appartement is heel goed midden in het oude centrum . Voor ons was dat prima!

Eine ganz tolle Woche in Monopoli! Angefangen mit dem sehr netten und zuvorkommenden Vermieter, schöne, günstige und sehr saubere Wohnung, traumhafte Terrasse mit sagenhaftem Blick über den Hafen und das Meer. Die Stadt ist wunderschön und ebenfalls sehr sauber! Tolle Promenade, schöne und nicht teure Bars und Restaurants, wunderschöne, sehenswerte Altstadt!! Und dies alles vor der Haustür!! Un soggiorno molto piacevole in un posto bellissimo

Abbiamo trascorso una settimana fantastica in Puglia. La proprietà è confortevole, in una posizione molto buona. Il proprietario è gentile e disponibile. Davvero niente di cui lamentarsi. Dall'appartamento si ha una vista sul mare. Non abbiamo usato il terrazzo essendo occupato con i viaggi. Monopoli è un posto fantastico dove stare - bello, calmo e ben comunicato.

Tolle 9 Frühlingstage in Apulien

Wir wurden sehr nett und zuvorkommend empfangen und kurz in das Nötigste eingeführt. Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet. Das Badezimmer geräumig. Es hat ein Dachlüftungsfensterchen. Die Waschmaschine ist praktisch. Da wir 9 Tage in der Wohnung waren, haben wir sie auch benützt und waren froh darüber. Das Schlafzimmer ist für 2 Personen geräumig und hat ein Fenster in den Hof. Der Wohnbereich mit Küche ist eher klein, zu zweit aber kein Problem. Die Terrasse hat wirklich wunderbare Meer- und Hafensicht. Der Vermieter hat uns versprochen, dass er den kaputten Tisch und die Liegestühle ersetzen werde. Die Stühle mussten wir zuerst vom Staub befreien. Wir haben die Terasse sehr genossen.

Traumurlaub bei Giacomo

Wir haben in Monopoli wunderbare Urlaubstage verbringen können. Giacomo zeigte bereits viel Verständnis für unsere späte Ankunft und selbst als wir uns dann noch verspäteten, war das kein Problem für ihn. Um 23.00 Uhr empfing er uns und war zuerst gleich bei der Parkplatzsuche behilflich. Monopoli selbst begrüßte uns ebenso freundlich wie Giacomo. Die Formalitäten waren schnell erledigt und wir konnten noch zu einer mitternächlichen Begrüßungsrunde durch Monopoli starten. Wie bereits andere Urlauber beschrieben, liegt die Wohnung in einem sehr schönen alten Haus inder Altstadt von Monopoli - die Treppen zur Wohnung sind steil, die Stufen sind sicher bereits sehr viele Menschen hoch und herunter gelaufen, aber gerade das macht unserer Meinung den Reiz des Hauses aus. Für uns war es Wohlfühlen vom ersten Moment an. Alles in der Wohnung war so wie beschrieben und sehr sauber und ordentlich. Für uns wichtig: es gab Geschirrhandtücher und viele Utensilien für den täglichen Bedarf, die man in anderen Ferienwohnungen oft vermisst. Es waren vorhanden: Gewürze, Zucker, Mehl, Mineralwasser und auch Strandutensilien wie 2 Sonnenschirme und ein kleiner Strandstuhl. Die Klimaanlagen funktionierten tadellos, das Badezimmer war geräumig und gut ausgestattet. Die kurzen Wege bis zum Minimarkt, in dem man einfach ALLES bekam (Brötchen, Obst, Nudeln usw), viele Restaurants und Bars, den Stadtstrand - für uns absolut in Ordnung! - all das macht die Wohnung optimal für uns. Giacomo war immer für uns erreichbar und hatte viele gute Tipps für uns. Wir können jedem diese Wohnung empfehlen undwerden auch gern wieder kommen. Wer mit mehreren Personen als angegeben kommen möchte - nebenan gibt es noch eine sehr ähnliche Wohnung. Wir bedanken uns vielmals bei Giacomo und sagen arrivederci Monopoli!

L'appartamento é ben ristrutturato, dislocato su un unico piano e dispone di un bagno ampio e funzionale con cabina doccia e accessoriato. La terrazza al piano superiore consente un'ottimo panorama, anche se non é direttamente accessibile dall'appartamento. Il letto matrimoniale e i divani letto sono comodi e l'armadio é molto spazioso. La disponibilità della lavatrice (in bagno), del ferro da stiro, della TV, dell'aria condizionata e del Wi-fi rendono confortevole il soggiorno. L'appartamento essendo in prossimità del castello dà l'opportunità di recarsi sia al mare che nel centro storico in pochissimi minuti. Il proprietario Giacomo si é dimostrato simpatico, molto accogliente e disponibile. Monopoli é una località con un bellissimo centro storico molto frequentato, con bei negozi e una vasta scelta di locali dove mangiare. Il mare é pulito con spiagge sia di sabbia che di scogli. Noi abbiamo trascorso una vacanza indimenticabile.

Sejour monopoli et environs

Commençons par le début appartement correspondant aux photos 10/10 à 30 mètres du port et du château première plage 150 mètres mais peu très bien ce baigner à 30 mètres l eau transparente chaude et le soleil omniprésent des très bonnes balade a faire pas très loin alberabello ostuni polignano à mare.... possibilité de faire une ballade en mer avec baignade 20€ personne pour 2h00. Les magasins et resto sont à 50 mètres, les prix sont attractifs ( pizza marguerita à 3€50 panzerotti spécialité pugliese 1.50 € ) .Que dire d autre que nous avons passé un excellent séjour. Giacomo le propriétaire est très disponible et fort sympathique. Vous pouvez y aller les yeux fermés. Nous y retournerons avec plaisir !!!

A definite must come destination

My husband I would highly recommend this apartment in monopoli, we stayed there last week and have been there three times now. The apartment is very clean,comfortable and is fully equipped with everything that you need, the rooftop terrace is fantastic and offers beautiful views of the sea and port. They have many restaurants which are all good especially seafood restaurants . The people in this beautiful town are all very friendly in this more authentic southern Italy. The local shops are great for fresh produce if you like cooking. The owner Giacomo is a very helpful,kind young man who is at hand if you need help with anything and can tell you useful information on the area he is also able to help with transport car rental or pick up from airport and his English language is really good!! We have highly recommended Giacomo's apartment in monopoli to all our family and friends. We look forward to going again soon.

schöner Ort, angenehme Unterkunft

Für eine gute Woche waren wir Gäste in der Ferienwohnung in Monopoli. Wir haben uns in ihr - und auch insgesamt in dieser sympathischen kleinen Hafenstadt - sehr wohlgefühlt. Die Wohnung bietet eine gute, solide Ausstattung. Ihre Lage in der Altstadt war für uns ideal. Die Möglichkeit, sich auch auf dem Dach mit den schönen Ausblicken aufzuhalten, haben wir besonders geschätzt. Der Vermieter war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Sehr gerne empfehlen wir die Ferienwohnung weiter.

Beautiful terrace, beautiful place.

Had an amazing holiday here with my wife and two kids, 11 and 6. The apartment is small but well equipped with everything you'd need. Was small for four but we were very comfortable. However the real star of the holiday was the roof terrace. Access is difficult with narrow steps but once you get there, wow! Amazing panoramic views and a lovely place to have breakfast every morning. Monopoly is a beautiful little city full of winding atmospheric lanes and old beautiful buildings. The apartment is located very close to everything but still very quiet at night. It's just a short walk to a little beach where we swam regularly in the beautiful clear waters with colorful fish. Monopoly is also a great location to base yourself to explore Puglia but it is also too easy to spend your whole holiday, eating, drinking, exploring and relaxing in this charming little city. Giacomo was an amazing host. He collected us and dropped us to the airport when we were leaving which with two kids was a great help. He was always available when needed and a great source of information about the town. We loved our stay in Giacomo's apartment and can't wait to return again some time. Zentrale Lage gleich neben der Burg, nette Wohnung, trotz Ostern angenehm warm,

Monopoli ist eine schöne Stadt, die es sich zu besuchen lohnt. Die Wohnung liegt optimal zentral, direkt an der Burg fast direkt am Meer gleich neben dem alten Hafen. Also optimale Lage. Die Wohnung ist voll ausgestattet. Der Kontakt zum Vermieter war freundlich. Bei uns war erst der Kühlschrank defekt, aber es wurde umgehend Abhilfe geschaffen. Monopoli hat eine optimale Lage um Ausflüge zu machen. Wir haben den Aufenthalt genossen trotz des außergewöhnlich kalten Wetters an Ostern.

"Mein" Monopoli

Es war wieder soooo schön in Monopoli. Selbst Anfang November konnten wir noch sonnen/baden und die schöne Landschaft bei Sonnenschein genießen. Eine warme Jacke ist zu dieser Zeit jedoch sehr empfohlen. Giacomo's Apartment liegt sehr zentral im Centro Storico, hat eine schöne Dachterrasse (über eine schmale, steile Steintreppe zu erreichen), war sauber und bestens ausgerüstet. Vom Fön, über Waschmaschine bis zur ital. Espressomaschine war alles da. Und Giacomo war sehr geduldig (wir hatten Verspätung), immer freundlich und hilfsbereit. Und sein Englisch zum Verlieben ;-). Das Apartment ist sehr gut geeignet für 2 Erwachsene und evtl. 2 Kinder (etwas eng für 6 Personen) und über eine Steintreppe erreichbar. Danke Giacomo. Ich komme bestimmt wieder nach Monopoli.
