Samphire is our smallest 2-bed cottage, cleverly designed to maximize available space.

The soft grey-green scheme is reminiscent of the ever-shifting shades of the local marshland. Hues of putty and fern, linen upholstery and rustic oak mix effortlessly with a painted hand-built kitchen in the open plan living area. A large fireplace offers a log burning stove.

Upstairs there are two bedrooms, one double and one superking or twin. They both feature bespoke headboards, antique chests and natural coir flooring, whilst the bathroom boasts a cast iron roll top bath, separate shower tiled in grey slate pebble, and WC and basin.

Samphire is approx 70 sq metres has free wifi, freesat TV, DVD player, digital radio with bluetooth speaker, dishwasher, hairdryer, central heating and access to washing machine/ironing. Towels, linens and logs provided.

Samphire has a private terrace, with table and chairs, that gives onto the shared garden. There is off-road parking. Views to the front of Samphire are across the garden onto open fields, views to the back are of the Hall and west barn.

The perfect setting for succulent samphire picked from the saltmarsh and fried up with a local bream!

Samphire is one of the five Cartshed Cottages at Sharrington Hall which are both stylish and comfortable. A mix of vintage and contemporary furniture, oak floors and natural materials create a relaxed mood befitting the local North Norfolk environment. Each cottage is inspired by something that for us, exudes the essence of North Norfolk – Shell, Seal, Salt, Samphire and Sky. We offer special couple rates in all our cottages all year round, Sky and Shell are our dog-friendly cottages and we only accept children age 13 or over (no infants/babies).
