Lovely location and accommodations
My sister, my husband and I stayed at this cottage for 3 nights. It's lovely and has plenty of amenities in the kitchen. Location is Very close to the train, which was perfect for hoping on to pop over to Windsor and Eton. It's also one block from a pub and a corner market. Issues; the king size bed is poor quality and therefore uncomfortable (I was very happy we only had to sleep on it for 3 nights) and the washer/dryer's normal wash cycle was over 3hrs long (we learned to use the rapid setting) and if you have more than one days worth of cloths in it, it takes 3 to 4 hours to dry a load and leaves your clothes extremely wrinkled even if you remove them before it has stopped. This was part of a 14 day trip and the ability to wash our clothes was part of why we booked a house instead of another hotel. The booklet provided was fantastic, we used it for restaurant recommendations and more. We truly appreciated that it was emailed to us so we could refer to it while out and about. We had to contact the host, who got back to us promptly and kindly. They resolved our issue (which was self created, no fault of the property) quickly and we're great about it. Overall it was great, but I wouldn't stay here again in the future because of the mattress.
