Résidence non fumeur Magnifique bungalow moderne de 2 chambres avec amarrage de 100 pieds, sur les rives de la Tamise. Bain à remous, sauna, Wi-Fi. 4 miles à Lego-land, Windsor et Eton, 5 miles Thorpe Park, London Eye et Westminster 45 minutes en voiture (18 miles).
Bain à remous et sauna dans le jardin.
ARRANGEMENTS DE SOMMEIL:
Grande chambre avec lit King size, pour 2 adultes.
Plus petite 2ème chambre a un canapé-lit qui peut accueillir 2, (c'est un canapé-lit 4'6 "de large), similaire à un petit lit double, adapté aux enfants.
Il y a aussi un canapé-lit dans le salon pour 2 personnes (encore une fois, cela fait 4'6 "de large).
Idéalement, pour passer de bonnes vacances, la maison peut accueillir 4 personnes confortablement. Si vous comptez l'utiliser principalement comme base pour voyager et visiter des sites touristiques, alors 6 pourrait être acceptable. Mais si vous apportez 6 grosses valises et que vous faites plier les divans, vous allez trébucher et des étranglements peuvent se produire.

This was one of the most unique and charming places we have ever stayed in. From the moment we arrived, it felt less like a holiday home and more like staying at a friend’s house — everything was so welcoming. The hot tub and the beautiful location right on the River Thames made it easy to relax straight away. Although we only stayed for three nights, we enjoyed every moment. A truly special place with so much character — we would happily come back!

10/10 — we really enjoyed our stay! Everything was perfect and the place had everything we needed. The kitchen was fully equipped, including tea, coffee and all the essentials, and there was even a lovely bottle of champagne waiting for us!It’s a beautiful, private place to stay, relax and switch off. The sauna and jacuzzi were amazing, and the BBQ was all ready to use as well.The hosts were incredibly kind and even offered us an extra day for free, which was such a lovely surprise and really appreciated.Highly recommend this place! We’re already looking forward to visiting again!

Lovely area. Hosts seemed lovely- communication was good and they left some Prosecco and chocolates for us on check in. Hot tub was good, but to echo a previous review, the place is very tired. Cobwebs up high and shower a bit smelly. We made the most of it and had a nice time. Good base.

Was such a lovely place hot tub was fantastic liked all the interesting memorabilia round the house loved to playing all the old tracks on the jukebox was cool The bottles of Prosecco and the chocolate in the fridge was a nice touch thank you. would definitely recommend staying here was nice sitting there watching the ducks and the swans on the Thames also great communication from the hosts Sharon and Andy

We loved Sharon and Andy’s cottage. It’s right on the River Thames, and close to numerous historic sites, including Windsor Castle, Eton, the site where the Magna Carta was signed, Roman ruins, and so much more.It is also located within walking distance of the Sunnymead rail station, which is a 1h ride into London and its Underground system.We also enjoyed the hot tub! That was a definite plus, as was learning about Andy’s storied career - you have to stay there to learn about it!Hope to go back some day!

We absolutely loved our stay. A real home from home. The owner was extremely helpful. A comfy and cosy space and we loved the music memorabilia. We had the best time and I would use this again if we were in the area.

A collapsed bed was the last straw that started us really looking at this place, we messaged the host to at least acknowledge there were short comings, failed gate lamp, overgrown weeds in the patio and patio furniture , many door hinges in need of a bit of TLC, We asked them to consider how they would react at the resultant impact of burnt-out bulbs, faulty blinds, dead solar lamps, weather worn and plain worn out, garden furniture or useless outdated visitor information, and how they would react to such shoddy presentation? Included in the hosts response was a total denial of any issue and a suggestion that “There are 2 other sofa beds in the house that you could have slept on instead of moving out”. This, over 24 hours after we’d departed!One of the two second beds was in the living room, where the blinds didn’t work! Which impacted both privacy at night and daytime views.The second? If you can identify the stain, alcohol, vomit, sweat and be comfortable sleeping next to it! Crack on.We were not there to use a Hot Tub, eat chocolates or drink Prosecco but to get a good sleep in a relaxing, fully functional, hygienic environment. After much deliberation and research, we found alternative accommodation and at our own additional expense, left after only one day.The photos reflect what awaits you, the statue had a mop left out to dry on its head and opposite appears to be the equipment used to clean floors, possibly waiting for the next clean to commence? Enjoy!

Beautiful location and idyllic!!

Lovely Riverside views, we were returning customers and the place is a stone throw from the Airport and Legoland resort.Cool funky place, peaceful and very private. No key given for access to outside lake anymore which is a pity, other than that we were very satisfied!!!! If you like the culture of Music, you will be in paradise!!!

Really lovely return stay. Love the riverside location and views, especially from the hot tub, and the quirky, cool decor in the living spaces. Owner very responsive to questions etc during our stay. Will be back 😊

Amazing location

The accommodation was in a fantastic location to visit Legoland and other places nearby. The owners were so kind leaving us some choccies and Prosecco. The jukebox was cool and my son absolutely loved playing the piano. Sitting on the riverside on a night watching the parakeets was unforgettable. Lively stay and would recommend.

Great stay in a classic property

Love the place, a bit tricky to park but overall good facility. Host was generous offered a lot of drinks etc. A bit disappointed that the sauna was broken as wife really wanted to use that - one of the reasons we booked.

Wonderful!

Always enjoy my stay. Lots of interesting things to enjoy, inside and out. Love the juke box! and nice and relaxing by the river. I think the planes just served to remind me , I'd got nothing to do, but relax! Safe and secure if you fancy a solo retreat. Looking forward to my next stay.
