1829 Row House In Geneva’s Historic District for Extended Stay
Just renovated and furnished ground floor apartment, in the South Main Street Historic District, where Geneva began. This apartment is our home during the wonderful Finger Lakes summers
.
Convenient to city’s shops and restaurants and Hobart William Smith.
The home was second of three row houses used in the 1830’s
as Madame Ricord’s Female Seminary,
It offers spacious rooms, with high ceilings, two front rooms having original (non- functional) fireplaces. Views of historic Main Street ‘s painted row houses, from the front, and the city and Seneca Lake, from the small deck.
Hardwood floors, with little carpet. Steam heat helps us reduce allergens when compared to forced air.
Kitchen is full-sized and featured, with all essential appliances and utensils, fan, plenty of lighting.
Our home is best suited to an individual or couple. Few front steps make it friendly to tender knees, but rear steps to street below are not suited for children.
Very popular with Cornell Ag station and Hobart William Smith employees and visitors. We invite guests looking for comfort and convenience for periods of a few week to several months.
