Beautiful, secluded, country home on 10 acres in Kelsey CA. Kelsey is 9 miles from Placerville and very near to Georgetown. Modern, open well-equipped kitchen and great room and 3 lovely bedrooms. Large sundeck with expansive views. Secluded for privacy, and yet close to fine wineries and white water rafting.

The house is 1700 sq ft, with an open, modern, well-equipped kitchen, great room with fireplace, and 3 lovely bedrooms. Master bedroom has antique brass bed, and large soaker tub. Excellent for wine excursions, rafting weekends, retreats, or just a quiet weekend getaway. There is space to park 4x4 trailers. Please note that this is an upscale rental nicely furnished.

What a beautiful home. The views were breathtaking from both the upper and bottom decks. Wonderful outdoor seating for sunset dinners. The space was clean and equipped with everything we needed. Wonderful and peaceful location, tucked away off of well maintained roads and driveway. Great communication with the host. Short drive to Georgetown or Placerville. We visit this area yearly and hope to be back.

Ahhhh-mazing!!!

We came from NY to visit family in the Garden Valley area and needed a place to stay for three nights. This house was perfect and had everything you could need. Loved the morning coffee outside on the big porch in the morning with a view that can not be described without seeing it for yourself. The owner even called to make sure everything was as we expected, which is great!! Will definitely be staying here again when we come back to visit in the future.

Family gathering with a view

The view is breathtaking especially at sunset!! And you have this gorgeous view from every room. It was the perfect spot for a family holiday gathering in the foothills. Everything from communication with the host to the extremely well stocked kitchen was just perfect!

The view from the deck is incredile and the house was very clean, extremely comfortable and was outfitted with everything we could possibly need. The owner provided excellent communication before our visit. A perfect getaway!

Beautiful, delightful, clean and quiet house in the hills

My family had a truly delightful stay at this house. It was beautifully decorated with a gorgeous view from the large windows at the back and from the spacious patio. The house was very clean and all the furniture was in excellent condition. The beds were very comfortable. They had everything we could have wanted/needed in the kitchen. This house is in a somewhat remote location and the owner provided very detailed and accurate instructions on how to get there. It was a wonderfully quiet and beautiful getaway. We will definitely come back!

Great Getaway

We thoroughly enjoyed our restful and relaxing stay at Amantes de Vino. We selected this house for the views and expansive deck, and we were not disappointed. As others have mentioned, the house is well-equipped, especially the kitchen, and there is a nice grill. We ate dinner outside each evening and enjoyed the beautiful sunsets. We cannot say enough about the communication from David (the owner). Thank you for sharing your home with us.

Off the beaten path

We loved this property. Really off the beaten path... if you are looking to get away from the hustle and bustle... this is the place. It really is in the middle of nowhere and has amazing views. The house is equipped with everything you could possibly need. We stayed here during a rafting trip with our family on the America River which was only about a 25 minute scenic drive. Dave, the owner was extremely responsive and super helpful leading up to and during our stay. I would highly recommend this property.

Beautiful getaway in the sierra Nevada foothills

What a gorgeous location and great place to get away from the hustle of every day life and take a deep breath and enjoy the beautiful sunsets and breathtaking views from the back deck. Highly recommend!

Peaceful and Perfect

As others have noted, the pictures do not do this home justice. Clean, well furnished (with an exceptionally stocked kitchen), private and quiet retreat. We spent a wonderful weekend unwinding on the property. Check-in was effortless, the house was perfect, and the setting was amazing. The roads to/from the property are not at all difficult to navigate, just take your time and enjoy the views!

Great Stay!

The property was beautiful and we had a great time, once we found it. Got a little lost getting there and the windy road getting there got me a little sick but it was totally worth it once we got there. Dave was very responsive and there were zero issues. Great time!

I think we would agree that the house is everything that was described! It is well equipped, beautifully maintained and the views and the stars are incredible. That being said, we were horrified at the drive up the hill to get to the house. We are mature people who needed the house for our grandson's wedding in Placerville and we came two days early so we could go to the rehearsal and so on. Well, we knew we were going to drive back up that hill in the dark when the wedding was over! this created a great deal of distress! My husband explored the different routes to get to the house and put together the best one to use. Obviously, we made it because he did such a good job of it. But we really didn't need to worry so much at such an important family event. I am really writing this for the owner, not knowing what he can do about it. It would make a great retreat house that you could go up and down the mountain in the daylight!

Wow!! The pictures do not do this place justice!!!!

My group and I decided on this place because we had signed up for a local race, Cool Moon, out in Cool, CA. This place was perfect!!! It was about 30 mins from the race start. David was such an amazing host! His communication was always prompt, gave us clear and concise instructions for the rental. We arrived on a Friday night and when we opened the front door, we were in awe!! The view from the house was amazing!!!! The house had everything that we needed!! I feel like the owners thought of EVERYTHING for this place.....the surround sound for the entertainment center was amazing!!! Plenty of pots, pans, dishes, BBQ grill, etc....I think the only bad thing I can say about this place was that there was not enough lighting for the back. We would have loved to have dinner outside, but other than that, this place was amazing! If we decide to come back next year, I will definitely look into renting this place again!! Thank you so much for sharing your home with us!! We really appreciate it!!

Incredibly clean. Everything we needed was there, including extra blankets, washing machine and detergent, plenty of towels, dishes and glassware, basic kitchen consumables, coffee. BBQ grill worked great. View was amazing (except for the smoke from the forest fires). Back deck was great hangout spot. Quiet and serene. This is what VRBO is all about. Feel relaxed and happy with this weekend getaway.

NO words how AMAZING this home is!!

We travel the majority of the year and stay in tons of homes and THIS home is by far the best we have ever stayed in. This house is VRBO done RIGHT!! It is extremely homey and has so much space! The owner has supplied anything and everything you could possibly need! The only thing you will need is food and personal supplies. I can't explain how top notch this rental is. Thank you to the owners who made our trip and stay there PERFECT! The drive is up a tiny road but the VIEW once you reach the home...AMAZING.

Lovely Home

It worked out well for the family wedding nearby. Lots of space, with a wonderful kitchen full of everything we needed. I didn't realize that there were two bedrooms downstairs. Liked having the Master on the main floor. The house was very comfortable with minimum use of the air conditioner even though it was in the 90"s outside. We enjoyed the view and used the big dining table on the deck.

Beautiful House with Amazing Views

The house is soo beautiful with amenities. The kitchen had all the things we needed with non-stick pans, coffee mugs, coffee maker, etc. The house is soo spacious and love the open layout The rooms were large and very spacious as well! The patio deck wraps around the house and has entrances everywhere which makes it easy to enjoy outside property. The best thing about the place is the gorgeous views. From inside the house tou can enjoy the amazing view of the mountains because the house has glass all around. Enjoying coffee on the deck in the morning and listening to nature was spectacular! This place is a hidden gem!!Will definitely stau here again! The owners were also very helpful and gave us insight of where to get groceries and were always willing to answer any of our questions!! The drive to the house is very windy but manageable going up the mountain so be very careful because the house is remember on top of a mountain.

Beautiful view, immaculate home!

This place is a hidden gem. Immaculate with beautiful view. A couple in our group came in at night and had a difficult time locating, so would suggest arriving before dark. Thanks for the suggestion of Nello Olivio winery, had a great time!

Beautiful Get Away

We had an awesome time. You can't beat the view and amazing sunsets. The house is beautiful, very clean and well supplied with cooking and baking needs. It's far enough away from the hustle and bustle of town but not too far that 20-30 minutes can get you to some really interesting places. We stayed with our adult children and there was plenty of room for all.

Nice stay

The driving may be a little tricky, but this property is well worth it if you are looking to get away from it all. A comfortable home with a fantastic view. We planned day trips and there was plenty to do for both adults and children in the area.
