Casa Corbeña - Charming, traditional Catalan holiday home, made up of three separate homes

Casa Corbeña is a charming, traditional Catalan holiday home with accommodation for up to 25+5 persons. The holiday home has an idyllic location with a “in the middle of nowhere feeling” and still within half an hour of the beautiful beaches of Costa Daurada and the interesting and cultural cities of Tarragona and Reus.

The holiday home is made up of three parts, each with its own private entrances. This makes Casa Corbeña the perfect home for the large holiday group, as you still have the possibility for privacy. The 450m2 beautiful masía lies 2 km. down a gravel road in a small valley of the Prades Mountains, created by the small river in walking distance of the house.

Surrounded by Mediterranean forest landscape, Casa Corbeña gives you the perfect environment for relaxation where you can enjoy full privacy and relax on the terrace with a barbecue, facing the big swimming pool of 13 x 4 meters, where you can take a refreshing dip in the warm Catalan summer. Or perhaps walk down to the small river for a natural swim.

The house has three parts. The first part "El Graner" is the most modern house, which has room for 10 guests. El Graner has has its own independent entrance through the garden. The heart of El Graner is the large open kitchen and common room, which has a dining area with seating for 25 persons. It is an incredibly cosy space for the entire group to gather. El Graner has 4 bedrooms, all with ensuite bathrooms. Two of the bedrooms are double rooms which can be organized as doubles or twins. The other two bedrooms are triple rooms, with 1 double bed and one single bed in each.

The more traditional part is “El Pairal”, which has its own independent entrance through a private garden. This house can accommodate 9 guests, and has 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The first room is a triple room with a double bed and a single bed and a bathroom ensuite. The remaining 3 double rooms (2 with double beds and 1 with two single beds) share one bathroom. The house also has an authentic and fully equipped kitchen and a cozy 35 squaremeter living space with comfortable lounges, a fireplace and a balcony, where you can enjoy the Catalan sun.

Finally, the last house "Masoveria" can accommodate 6 guests. Masovieria also has its own private entrance through the gorgeous covered limestone terrace, with beautiful arches. The house has 3 double rooms (two with double beds and one with two single beds) and a bathroom to share. This house is also equipped with a cozy kitchen with seating, and a cozy living space with lounges.

Casa Corbeña is constructed for maximum sustainability with for instance greywater recycling, biological wastewater treatment, heat generated by biomass boiler and sustainable construction materials.

In the nearest village 10 minutes by car, you will find shopping and restaurants. The location is excellent with beaches, for instance Cambrils and Salou, and interesting towns like Reus and Tarragona nearby and also the Tarragona Camp highspeed train station only 15 minutes drive away. From here, you can get to Barcelona in 15 minutes and even Madrid in 3,5 hours. You find several walking and cycling itineraries, as well as native flora and fauna.

Please note that the house is located on the so-called "camino rural", which is a dirt road with some places where you have to drive very carefully, especially if you are driving a small car.
