The South Bay is a traditional seaside resort with donkey rides, amusements, the pier, plenty of good restaurants and bars as well as traditional fish and chip shops. The coastal destinations of Filey, Flamborough Head and Bridlington are to the south and to the north is the resort of Whitby and quaint Robin Hoods Bay.
