A property of very high standard all on one level.

A property of very high standard all on one level. Set in its own gardens with hot tub plenty a space for children to enjoy themselves. Two large sitting rooms both with X-Large televisions with all channels. Conservatory over looks garden and hot tub. Kitchen fully stocked for cooking and dining. Great outlook over open fields yet only a five minute drive to local amenities. Certainly a place to relax and get away from it all. We would definitely return and would highly recommend property.

The house was beautifully decorated with a mix of old and new style farm house and very clean throughout. The grounds that surround the house were perfect for walking the our dog and so well kept. The only negative we found was the beds were rather firm but, it would not stop my family and myself from booking again and giving the house and the owners very high recommendations! With 2 living rooms and a separate kitchen table and dining room there was plenty of space to not feel on top of each other. The communication from Jane with arrival details was great and I felt if I did need anything during my stay she was easy to get in contact with. 10/10 would definitely stay again. 2 families with 7 adults, 1 toddler and 2 large dogs.

2 families with 7 adults, 1 toddler and 2 large dogs. From arriving to leaving we thoroughly enjoyed our stay, out of the way of everyone but only a walk away into Cayton for local shops or a 5 min drive to supermarket. Filey, Bridlington, Scarborough, Whitby and York are only a short drive away. The cottage itself was first class with more than enough room for us all, you often got lost in the house looking for the kitchen. Great time in comfortable setting, like a home from home.

Great time in comfortable setting, like a home from home. Tastefully decorated. Everything to hand for cooking in the kitchen, really was fully equipped even more so than my own kitchen! Great comms from the owners. No complaints. Would come again. It was an issue to be going out for the day on public transport as the farm road would be hard for our 3 year old due to the length, bumpy ness and at night there is no lighting. But this is typical if you’re on a farm anyway. We used the nearby Seamer Train Station to park up for the day to venture out, there is also a nearby park and ride to use which is a short drive.

Brilliant location well equiped and quiet. Lovely garden. Well set up. Dog friendly. Be aware garden is enclosed but due to there being 2 farm gates it's not dog proof. Not a deal breaker though we just couldn't let our blind dog sniff around without constant supervision.

We took our parents for a 5 night stay to Carr House to celebrate their Golden Wedding Anniversary. Carr House is a well equipped, spacious bungalow. Could not fault Carr House ( hot tub is great too) We had a lovely week and can highly recommend.

Five star accommodation

Hello, this was one of the very best holiday cottages we have been to, and we’ve been to a lot. It was spacious, peaceful, spotless and disabled friendly. The garden was secure for dogs, which not all properties are even though they advertise them to be. Even though the weather was rainy we enjoyed just being in the cottage with all its excellent facilities. We would not hesitate to book again. The man who looked after the hot tub was lovely, he came every day to check the water in the hot tub in a very discrete manner. He was very friendly and helpful when required. On the whole I would award this property 10/10

Very impressed.

Very impressed. Great garden/paddock for the dog and lots of games, books, DVD etc left around for guests. Don't generally go back to any cottage but we might here!

Lovely house well-appointed and most suitable for family and friends with plenty of space. Very clean, helpful and charming owners. The hot tub was a huge success for our grandchildren and we were pleased that it was carefully maintained to cover health and safety concerns. We will return.

Fantastic cottage enjoyed by all the family including grandparents, parents, kids and 2 dogs. Enjoyed days in the beautiful garden and hot tub and lovely days out exploring Cayton, Scarborough, Bridlington and Filey. This year was our 3rd visit and definitely won’t be our last ? see you next year Carr House x ?

Very nice place.

Very nice place. Lived up to previous reviews. Peaceful but very easy access to local amenities. Amazing range of butterflies in garden thanks to some buddleia plants. Comfortable rooms. Kitchen easy to use. We would certainly go there again. One note the enclosed garden would not stop a dog getting out.
