This place was perfect! Immaculately clean and secluded and David, the owner, couldn’t be any nicer. It’s secluded and quiet, but close enough for day trips. You couldn’t ask for a more perfect place. We are already figuring out when we can go back! Thank you David for your kindness and generosity. What a legacy of welcome and kindness Jake has left behind.
Hi Sara, Thanks for the kind review. I have enjoyed all the travelers that stayed in Jake's Cabin.
I would be disappointed if one person or family paying good money, and fly or drive short or long distances, excited to enjoy a vacation and not get it! I will do what I can to make it happen. Thanks for this moving review! David Gilliam
Great cabin! Great experience!
David was a friendly and welcoming host for the
beginning of our stay at this cute little cabin. If you’re into relaxing and quiet and peaceful surroundings with a little creek with even some fish in it, you will love this charming little cabin. We would definitely recommend Jakes cabin to our friends when they are traveling in that area.
Hi Aprille, Thanks for choosing Jake's Cabin, and the review. The only thing that I think in this world that is universal, and all people are born with one, and understands the meaning of is a smile! So, just keep on doing it, and it will come back! Thanks for everything. David Gilliam
Wonderful Mountain Cabin
We had a great stay at Black Mountain in David’s awesome cabin! We had everything we needed. David was great! Thanks again! The Kyles
Hi Macky, Thanks for the review. I appreciate the way you left the house, you didn't have to, when I have back to back renters some times the washing machine gets a work-out. I have had really nice people and the house looks good when they leave. The good part is I don't ask for the renters to clean, I usually clean. The fees that VRBO charges on the bill are for VRBO to book and collect taxes. Thanks for being kind! You have a lovely Family, I hope to see you again, David Gilliam
This place is more than what you expect! Is very clean and gorgeous. David is an amazing guy and makes sure you have everything you need.
Hi to Ana and family, Thanks for the review. I'm happy that you enjoyed Jake's Cabin. I would welcome your family anytime. Thanks again! David Gilliam
We really enjoyed our stay. Thanks to Mr Gilliam for checking on us
Hi Richard and your friends, Thanks for the review! I enjoyed meeting the whole crew, I like to go over to the cabin and meet the renters, show them where everything is and give them some places to go, and give directions! I appreciate people like you, you all fit right in, hoping to see again. Take care, David Gilliam
This was my second trip to this lovely little secluded cabin. I’m going back in August!
This is the perfect mountain cabin to get away from things. It’s peaceful and quiet, not too secluded, and we had everything we needed. David is a great host!
Hi Jonette, Thanks for the review. It was a pleasure have you and your family. I've gotten behind in my responses, but I will catch up.
Thanks again, David Gilliam
