Welcome to High Tide Cottage - part of the Bay Filey Holiday Village it is ideal for couples or a growing family with children.

This immaculate cottage is ideal for a family holiday with lots of space for a growing family.

Enter into the airy hallway with storage for all your essentials and access to the downstairs cloak / WC.

Walk through into the large open plan L shaped lounge with two lovely new sofas, SMART TV, dining room (sits 4) and fully fitted kitchen including dishwasher, washing machine etc.

Upstairs the property comprises of 1 double bedroom and 1 twin bedroom with a large family bathroom complete with bath and overhead rainfall shower.

Off the lounge area are French doors open onto a private furnished patio with BBQ, surrounded by large, shared garden and landscaped grounds and direct access to one of the many Boules courts at The Bay.

Travel Cot and High Chair are available for use free of charge (own bedding required).

We leave a few games for our guests to use. This warm and cosy house is ideal for breaks all year round.

This property is part of The Bay Holiday Village and all bookings gain direct beach access, unlimited use of The Bay Filey Indoor Pool, Baby Pool, Sauna, Steam Room and Gym. Some amenities are chargeable locally like food and drink, tennis and any activities operated by Away Resorts such as Archery and Crafts.

Lovely house in perfect location

High Tide Cottage at The Bay is perfectly located for us. The house was very clean, spacious, a lovely welcome pack with tea, milk and cookies etc. we booked through Anchor Bay Holidays and have done before, the communication is good. We caught the bus to Scarborough, bus stop just outside The Bay. You can walk along the beach to Filey and other places. Will definitely be staying there again.

Lovely comfortable cottage, beautifully decorated.

A lovely comfortable and cosy cottage . The cottage was decorated to a high standard and in a nice location on the Bay site . We enjoyed our stay and appreciated the nice welcome pack , thank you . Lovely biscuits !

Lovely Short Break Away had at High Tide Cottage

First of all communication about Finding our accommodation, Obtaining the key and where to Park were all excellent. High Tide Cottage was a lovely modern House not far from the Entrance of the site and close to Bus stops for Filey, Bridlington and Scarborough which for us was Great. A helpful small welcome Pack left in kitchen, lots of games Etc for families. Beds very comfy Quiet location, It had Everything We needed for our stay.

Summer break

Lovely cottage with good decor really relaxing we stayed an extra 2 days as we enjoyed it so much. Filey bay is in a great location so near to the beach clean and safe. Just wish it had a lager fridge freezer as it’s under counter. Pillows a bit too firm for us but overall a great stay

High Tide Cottage is such a lovely property in the perfect location.

High Tide Cottage was perfectly situated for us and was nice that there was an area to sit out at the back. The accommodation was clean and the beds were extremely comfy. We couldn’t fault the place at all. Anchor holidays were excellent at communication keeping me informed at ok times etc. I’ll definitely try and stay in the cottage again when I next visit The Bay. Thanks.

We have stayed at high tide numerous occasions and have always been satisfied with our stay.

Brilliant place no problems. Very clean and comfortable. Handy for the beach and buses.lovely surroundings.

A Week in Hightide cottage filey

The Cottage is located in an ideal place close to Bridlington, filey and Scarborough. We had a wonderful weeks stay in a clean and well equipped cottage, which was nice and quite on a night,we would definitely stay there again.

4 night stay

Positives Able to check-in early. Good facilities in the property and plenty of crockery/utensils. Towels and bedding good. Quiet area. Negatives Poor standard of cleaning. Needed to clean kitchen on arrival - fridge had food remnants in there and surfaces/ cupboards visibility dirty. Lots of fruit flies which took us a couple of days to fully clear. Shower head very blackened and off putting - needs replacing.

Hi Thank you for your review and acknowledgement of the bedrooms and the bedding / linen / location were good and that we allowed you a free complimentary early check in (we note you ignored the instructions that if you do check in early you MUST leave the keys in the box so we can come in and finish - which explains why the cleaning hadn't been completed) We are upset by your comments about the cleaning. We note that despite checking in early you didnt call us and give us the chance to correct these issues. In addition it is unfair to mark us down for flies in the area which is a natural phenomenon and out of our control. You also chose to not contact us about this issue. We have staff 24/7 that would have come and corrected the cleaning and would have loaned you a high powered UV fly killer for the duration of your stay, Please note that this property gets 5* reviews across the board for cleaning and it is unfair to score this so low when only a few small issues were missed (as we gave you an early check in) and the flies are completely out of our control due to nature and the semi rural coastal location.

Whilst the cottage was more than wonderful we both found the settee to be very uncomfortable too low

Enjoy the East Coast with a stay in the comfortable High Tide Cottage

High Tide Cottage is lovely , well equipped, comfortable and warm two bedroomed house Great location for exploring the East Coast . Great long clean beach and cliff top path to walk into Filey and further to Scarborough Good bus service as well between Bridlington and Scarborough and onward to Whitby

Good quiet location on the complex . The house is clean . well stocked , comfortable and spacious The Bay is an excellent base for exploring the seaside towns nearby The beach is beautiful at low tide with long walks

Perfect location and property.

This is the first time we have stayed at The Bay and it won’t be the last, The cottage was beautiful and had everything we needed, it was very comfortable and nicely set out, well equipped too. Nice cottage

Had a nice stay at the cottage. Everything we needed was at the property. Found bits of items in the bedroom under ned left by previous renters that should have been noticed by the cleaners but that really was the only issue.

Lovely base for a great holiday.

High Tide is perfectly located, clean and very well equipped. We stayed as a family of 4. It is a great base for a holiday, whether to simply wander through The Bay to the beach, go into Filey or go further afield (Whitby was a particular favourite). Even the sun shone for us! We will be back.

Holiday home

On our visit we found the location was good for us, very quiet, clean and warm. Near to the road entrance and bus stops for travel up/down the coast. We found the shower very good with plenty of hot water, the down side was the glass shield not really wide enough, had to be very careful not to get water all over the floor and also not very safe getting in/out of the bath to the shower, could do with more mats and a handle.

High Tide, High Quality

Lovely accommodation, very clean and comfortable. Well equipped and maintained. Good Wi-Fi. Quick to sort out one minor issue that we had. A great base for travelling out to local area. Access to beach fairly close but was quite steep. Communication and access information was clear and easy to follow. We are planning to stay there again.

Lovely Cottage

Stayed for four days and enjoyed the property. Cleanliness could be improved as there were areas which had not been cleaned properly. Dust etc and in the main bedroom under the bed there were a number of empty water bottles indicating that the cleaners had not checked. Cottage is a distance from the main facilities on the Bay. All in all a lovely stay

High Tide review

Possibly our third or fourth stay at High Tide. Its always been fantastic and we felt this time it had a even fresher feel. Clean comfortable, great location little extras loved it. It's a well.looked after clean comfortable . property ,.love the space out back too. Exceptionally warm, we did keep turning heating down but kept re setting so did end up with windows open. Would have liked oven gloves as opposed to a oven cloth but honestly we love this property. First time we've stayed by a managed company , would be useful if it was more personalised as the documents were general for all Properties we felt so had we not been before some a little misleading such as dogs policy. We will certainly be back.

High Tide September break

Generally satisfied and comfortable. Initial problem with central heating boiler dealt with promptly when reported. Felt some areas were not sufficiently clean, long hairs in drawers and bathroom. Skirting boards thick of dust. Did not use any kitchen appliances, but wanted to use the washing machine - and found it with black mould in the dispenser drawer and door gasket. Not hygienic.

We have addressed the issues with cleaning since you stayed and would have sorted any and all problems if you had done as requested and contacted us - I know it should have been right on arrival but due to the cleaner being hospitalised we couldn't do a full deep clean prior to your stay but we would have come back and put right the issues for you. Fantastic Property!

This was our second visit to The Bay. We enjoyed our first stay, 3 years ago, in a different cottage (despite the weather) but it didn’t compare to our stay in High Tide Cottage! It was immaculate and gorgeously decorated. The open living space was comfortable and extremely well equipped- from the cookware and kitchen utensils, to the washing machine, to the smart TV and X Box! The bedrooms were great, plenty of storage space in each, comfortable beds and a hairdryer in each room, too! The bathroom was lovely and clean with a decent pressured shower! The French boules pitch to the back of the property was the icing on the cake for my 6 year old son, who made friend with 2 other children who’s holiday cottages also backed on to the pitch. It served as their playground for the week and they all loved having a safe and secure area to play on together. We were fortunate enough with the weather to make use of the outdoor furniture, on a couple of occasions! There were always plenty of spaces in the car park close to the cottage and although it’s not far from the entrance of the resort, the walk to all the main facilities took all of 5 minutes. From stepping through the front door for the first time, we could tell High Tide Cottage was going to be the perfect base for our little staycation, and we were sorry to leave by the end of the week. We would absolutely love to stay there again!
