About this property
Willow Cottage (4), North Creake, Norfolk
Willow Cottage is a very charming and characterful cosy bolthole located just outside Burnham Market in the pretty village of North Creake with its famous farmer's market, popular deli/café, artisan shops, abbey ruins and friendly local pub which serves local ales and good food.
This gorgeous Grade II listed abode is over 200 years old and was built circa 1800 at the end of George III's reign so comes with all the charm and history you could want. The slightly uneven floors, walls and staircase are testament to its long history. Although it looks small from the front it is big inside and offers a relaxing stay for couples or a family wanting to be in a great location not far from the best beaches in North Norfolk and the uber chic village of Burnham Market, with its numerous restaurants, galleries, shops and deli's/café's.
Willow Cottage is furnished to a high standard with an eclectic mix of contemporary and vintage furniture and with artefacts that the owner has collected over a number of years. She has also taken great care to make every room different and welcoming. The wood burning stove is perfect for cosying up in front of during winter evenings, while the garden will positively enchant you on warm sunny days when you can soak up the sun's rays, or find a shady spot in which to dine alfresco. Split into two, the garden runs down to the River Burn and has an enclosed area which is safe for dogs and children. The decked area which backs onto the stream is an idyllic and tranquil spot in which to sit on a summer's evening with a glass of wine or two.
Willow Cottage is also available as a Sleeps 2 and a Sleeps 6 option with additional bedrooms closed off or opened up.
Additional Information:

This cottage has Norfolk winder stairs. As with older character cottages, these stairs are often enclosed, steep, curved and narrow. There is a solid hand rail on one side all the way up.
