エジンバラの裕福な家族が暑い夏の日を涼しくするために海沿いの家を購入したときに建てられた、素晴らしい、広々とした伝統的な海辺のタウンハウスです。

3階と中2階に渡って配置された幅の広い階段は、特に1階と2階の間の曲がりくねった階段が特徴です（注：標準の階段ゲートには幅が広すぎるため、若い人には向かないかもしれません子供達）。 応接室は、当時の標準であったように1階にあり、3つの大きな窓から光が入ります。 最上階からは、正面からアーサーズシートの眺めがあり、フォースファースを越えて後方のファイフまであります。

家は非常に高い水準に大規模な改修を受けており、4ベッドルーム、応接室、ダイニングルーム、新しいキッチン、ジャグジー付きの家族用バスルーム、各階のトイレ、フルガスセントラルヒーティング、高圧温水システム、新しいキッチン、バスルーム付きのマスターベッドルーム、新鮮な装飾、WiFi、ケーブルテレビ、ビデオとDVD、アイロンとアイロン台、ヘアドライヤー、リネンとタオル。 エジンバラ近くの自炊式の家に必要なものはすべて揃っています！

The house was brilliant and felt like a home. It was warm and comfortable and had everything we expected and more. The location was brilliant with lots of place to eat and drink on the doorstep. There’s also a supermarket a few minutes walk away. The bus service into Edinburgh city was so easy to use and very frequent. Communication was excellent. Parking outside the house was challenging but there’s plenty of other options. This is one of the best holiday homes we’ve rented and we will be back!

An absolutely wonderful home for a large family or group of friends to stay at! There were 7 of us in our party and the home was a great size for us. All of us having beds, ease of use of the restrooms, and a dining room large enough to accomodate those late night meals after a day exploring the city. Couldn't have been better for us!

We loved the house!! It was beautiful and we enjoyed all the original items there like the fireplaces and wood shutters The kitchen was well stocked. Dining room and parlor were great to visit with the entire family of 6. The host was wonderful at communication. Great location for public transportation.

Plenty of room for 6 of us. Loved the beach time we got with the cute cafes and restaurants. A nice escape from the crowds in the city.

Perfect short stay.

Beautiful house to stay in. Everything you would need was there. Such a well equipped kitchen, comfy lounge and very comfortable beds. A few minutes walk from the beach. Local buses near by to explore the area. A perfect break away for a catch up with family. Would definitely recommend staying here.

Phenomenal from beginning to end

This incredibly charming house was ideally located in a quaint and perfectly located neighborhood steps, from the beach, amazing restaurants and shops and within a short commute from tourist, destinations. This was a perfect place for our once in a lifetime visit to the UK.

Great Stay at the Beach

Our family very much enjoyed our stay in Portobello. The house was great and there a number restaurants, pubs, stores nearby. Portobello provides a nice break from the hustle and bustle of Edinburgh, but all of the iconic sites in Edinburgh are only a quick bus ride away. We would highly recommend this property and look forward to coming back in the future.

I moved to Portobello from Edinburgh City Centre when I fell in love with what was then a very dilapidated house with a lot of potential. Having spent all my spare time (and money) on the house for 5 years, I got a job in Italy and had to leave it behind in 2010. Not being able to part with it, I decided on holiday rentals which have proven to be very popular.

It's a real home. Many guests have commented on that. This could be because of all the dedication and love that went into its restoration!

It's bursting with character and many original features have been retained or reinstated, along side modern twists with lighting and art.

この宿泊施設の特徴

It's difficult to say what in particular I fell in love with when I first saw the house. It may have been the stairs and the light. There was a lovely feel to the place. The first floor living room with 3 big windows and original fireplace is a favourite, as is the wee room at the top with a view across the water to Fife.. Or the big bedroom at the top with a view to Arthur's Seat.

And I should mention the great community spirit in Porty. So many people will say hello, whether you know them or not and the High Street is full of great shops, bars and cafes.
