Great location. Good size bedrooms and 2 full baths. Nice view over the canal. We utilized nearby small shops for coffee and breakfast as well as a nice grocery store within walking distance. We would definitely stay there again.
Beautiful and very spacious. Location is fantastic, with plenty of options for public transport. Enjoyed the proximity to the market and the view to the canal was definitely a plus. Would definitely stay here again!
The location of this property makes it ideal for getting around London, with easy walking access to the Tube as well as fast response from Uber. It’s on a bustling street but the noise level was never objectionable, and the canal-side view is a nice extra. Added amenity of having a full grocery story just a 5 minute walk away. Comfortable spot for three travelers get acclimated to being in a suburb of a multi-cultural capital city.

will start by saying this host was very responsive as we arrived in London and due to unforeseen circumstances we were left scrambling to find somewhere to stay for 4 nights. The host asked if we could arrive an hour later than the normal check in time to give the cleaning people time get the apartment ready for our arrival. There is no way this place was professional cleaned, it is absolutely filthy, the funky smell upon entering and the mould smell in both bathrooms as well as the presence of mold on the tile. In the en suite bathroom, the rod holding the shower head is tied up by a piece of material, there is no cooler water option, just very hot or scalding, that was the option for both showers. There was toothpaste splatters on the sink taps in both bathrooms. Long dark hair down the bath tub drain in the family bathroom as well as dark hair all over the floor, none of it belonged to us as my daughter and I are both blond and my husband is bald! There were dust bunnies and crumbs all over the floors. London was having a heatwave when we arrived, the apartment was very warm and 2 of the fans were broken. Opening the windows was not an option as it was too noisy. The bed is the main bedroom made a creaking noises each time one of us turned over, the bedding whilst clean was very cheap polyester material. There was dust on the top of the head board, on the bed side lamp and table. There is so much more to say but I have run out of room
The canal-side location is the only positive.Unfortunately, the rest of our stay was unsatisfactory. Upon arrival, the apartment had a strong odor, and the ensuite bathroom smelled damp and of stale urine. Due to the late 5 PM check-in, we had to clean the bathroom ourselves, removing grime and hair, though the smell persisted, likely from structural dampness or mold (evidenced by a strong odor from an adjacent wall access hatch).The listing photos were misleading and did not reflect the apartment’s poor condition. Issues included:• No hand soap, shower soap, or tea towels.• A used condom found under a bed.• Broken blinds throughout; one main bedroom had no blind on a large window, leaving the bed visible from a busy street.• Poor-quality, stained furniture (e.g., ottoman, lounge).• Sparse, broken kitchen utensils, such as a bread knife without a handle.• A disorganized storage room and scattered furniture, reflecting neglect.Despite being described as “luxury,” the property felt far from it. The host offered a cleaner, but we had already cleaned out of necessity. We reported these issues to VRBO with photo evidence but received no resolution. VRBO closed the case, claiming insufficient information, though we provided everything requested.We hope this review helps future guests set realistic expectations.
