Fabulous weekend sta

Beautiful cottage on a lovely site. Well presented and comfy. Onsite team greeted us to make sure we were settled. Great for families and dogs. Honesty box shop with food and extras to buy was a nice touch.

Perfect for kids with playground animals and indoor pool

We loved our stay our kids were so relaxed and we felt safe letting them explore. They loved the playground, animals, activity room and indoor pool. Nice little town nearby and the hosts gave some great suggestions for where to visit, this was our favorite place from our month in the uk

Lovely family weekend brake

Great facilities for the family very peaceful location with amazing views and good location to get to Exmoor.

Devon in September

A lovely clean and well-managed property very close to the sea and the South West Coastal Path. Welcome instructions and local area information and recommendations were exceptional. Owner was very friendly and responded immediately to our queries any a minor item that needed replacing. The heated swimming pool was a bonus.

Fab property and great value

We had a lovely week at Peacock cottage; 2 adults and a 5 year old. The property is lovely and the grounds of Coulscott really make it. Feeding the animals every day and swimming before breakfast we’re our highlights, plus board games in the cottage when it was wet outside.

Wonderful 3 generation stay!

A very good family and dog- friendly stay

A delightful and comfortable property, attentive but not over-bearing owner, Amide, who was in hand to answer questions if required. Facilities well kept and as described- easy to access and use. Cottage was well equipped (only thing we couldn’t find was a cheese grater). Very helpful to have a dog walking loop on site. Well placed for local attractions too. Children thoroughly enjoyed the play areas and animals. Would definitely stay again.

Early September trip

We had a great time at Coulscott. It was the perfect place to truly relax with our two year old son. We spent so much time in the grounds and on the property. So much to do for our little one, feeding the animals, playing in the play areas and our favourite thing to do was swim in the pool everyday. Our cottage was perfect for the three of us and a short drive from the beach. Such a peaceful and beautiful setting. Alice was very helpful and friendly. Thanks so much.

Fantastic family stay with all the amenities

My wife, baby, and I just returned from a wonderful stay at Coulscott House Holiday Cottages, and we couldn't have asked for a more perfect family getaway. From the moment we arrived, we felt completely at home. ​We stayed in the beautiful two bedroom detached Peacock Cottage, which was full of charm and character. The four poster bed was a lovely touch of luxury, and the whole cottage was cozy, comfortable, and had everything we needed to settle in straight away. ​ The facilities are simply fantastic for families. We made full use of the indoor swimming pool, and our daughter was delighted with the soft play area, the outdoor playground, and the trampoline. A real highlight was exploring the farm, picking fresh fruit and vegetables from the garden, and collecting fresh eggs from the coops for our breakfast. It’s rare to find a place with so much to do for all ages, including table tennis and table football! ​What truly made our stay special was the people and the animals. The site team, Dom and Jay, were fantastic. They were so friendly, full of knowledge, and even let our daughter help put the ducks and chickens to bed, which she absolutely loved. The goats and alpacas were incredibly friendly and a joy to be around. Our host, Alice, was also brilliant and kindly allowed us a later checkout as there was no immediate changeover, which was a massive help with a little one. ​ We 100% recommend Coulscott House to any family looking for a relaxing and memorable break. We are already planning our return visit. Thank you for a lovely stay!

Lovely stay!

We had a wonderful time at Peacock cottage. It was a nice, cosy and unique place were we had a lot of fun. The kids loved the playground and all the toys. We were happy to lend some beach-things, so our day at the beach was much more comfortable. The only thing we Dutch missed was a coffee machine, with cups or pad. The silver coffee-thing wasn’t our friend
