Excellent communications with the host, we were hoping for a bedroom plus a bed however it's a single room. The apartment is hidden away a bit however it is very well appointed and this is a real home from home. A short walk to Bande Nere metro station (Line M1 - Red) which affords quick and easy access to the centre of Milan however there are bars and shops nearby for food and drink etc.
