Surrounded by lush vegetation and far reaching views from the upstairs terrace, this home lends itself perfectly to an extended family or group of friends reuniting to enjoy some quality time.
With its traditional rustic facade surrounded by a mature garden of colourful shrubs, plants and trees, Can Gato offers a beautifully rural setting despite its convenient location close to popular resort hot spots, creating that classic holiday feeling that’s irresistibly relaxing. A covered terrace overlooking the pool is home to a barbecue, providing the opportunity to cook as well as eat outdoors in this idyllic spot, great for lazy family evenings under the stars.
Entering through a wooden door, a spacious open-plan design with natural décor forms a bright and airy milieu, as tasteful furnishings create a stylish but unfussy blend of contemporary and traditional. On the ground floor a twin bedroom reveals a modern en suite bathroom with bathtub as well as a walk-in shower, the spacious dining area which naturally becomes the hub of the home leads to the kitchen and living room where doors open out onto the terrace shedding natural light into this cosy corner forming a pleasant spot in which to sit back and unwind. Three more comfortable bedrooms are found on the upper floor, including a large double bedroom with en suite shower and a fabulous balcony ideally positioned to relish views of the Tramuntana mountains.
A short drive away (10 minutes) Pollenca town has a genuine local ambience with an excellent choice of dining options - wandering through its narrow streets admiring the local craft stalls or savouring a coffee and sweet pastry in the main plaza whilst practising the fine art of people watching is always an excellent way to spend an evening.
The small picturesque, sandy bay of Cala Barques is also close by, for swimming, snorkelling or savouring a fresh fish platter in one of the local restaurants located in the small cove. The Port of Pollenca on the other hand offers a more upbeat vibe with chic boutiques, a bustling market and yachting marina.
