Quiet yet fairly central London neighbourhood. Quiet and comfortable room as described. Alison was super responsive with any questions we had and even volunteered to lend us umbrellas.

A place to come back

Beautiful, safe, lively area. Welcoming, helpful host. Big, clean room, private shower and toilet. 5 minutes' away 2 tube stations. Good restaurants nearby. Our host gave us advice about the best places around and and we really enjoyed them! Definitely a perfect stay in our favourite city!

A week in London

An amazingly cosy space in a great neighbourhood! Alison made sure we had everything we needed to enjoy our London holiday and was helpful and welcoming. And the details - the beautiful wooden bed, the fireplace, the books! The only (and small) downside was the toilet flush which seemed a bit reluctant from time to time.

A great experience. Alison is a 5 star host. Met us when we showed up. Great communication and recommendations for food/entertainment. The room was clean and actually bigger than it looks on the pictures. Private bathroom with a nice shower. Easy walk to the Hammersmith Station. The price is also right. Great value. I would highly recommend staying here if you are a couple looking for a great spot.

Was perfect location for a short walk/living in London experience to public transportation. Bed is a US queen size. Did not see a dryer. She added an extra chair for us, but missed not having the nice one in the pictures. WC was too small. Shower is very nice. Push the toilet flush handle a little farther than you should need to to get it to flush completely. Smelled smoke most mornings in the hallway. Host was respectful and helpful. The price was fair for what we got.

Sehr schöner Raum in einer hübschen Gegend von Hammersmith. Die Gastgeberin ist sehr freundlich und immer zur Stelle, wenn es Unterstützung braucht. Bus, U-Bahn und Geschäfte, Cafés und Restaurants alle in fußläufiger Entfernung... wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen...

My home is in a quiet road called a Grove because its treelined and wide. The area is full of fabulous restaurants as well as being so near Hammersmith & Goldhawk rd stations that you can get into the centre of town in 20 minutes on the tube
