The Space:
Welcome to this modern and comfortable 65m2 apartment located right next to Paseo de Gracia. The apartment is located in a historical Catalan building and is the ideal place to stay for and unforgettable and true local experience. Located in the Eixample district, you will be surrounded by countless restaurants, bars, coffee shops, venues... to make your stay in Barcelona unforgettable.
In this amazing spot, you’re just a few minutes walking distance to emblematic passages such as Passeig de Gràcia, where you will find many of the most international luxury stores and some of Gaudí’s masterpieces like Casa Batlló and Casa Milà, or Rambla Catalunya, a kilometre-long boulevard in the shade of the linden trees, full of terraces that offer the pedestrians the chance to stop off along the way for refreshment. Its recent renovation makes this two-bedroom flat, the perfect place to meet your dreams of what living in Barcelona should be. Located in the centric Eixample area, you just can't enough of your true Barcelona experience. Inside or outside, this will be your home away from home.
⚠️ VERY IMPORTANT Please note the apartment is located in a residential building, where neighbors live here all year around and it is our obligation to respect their rest. Please make sure before confirming your reservation you can adhere to the simple House Rules that are detailed below. Failure to accept and follow those will result on a monetary sanction and eviction from the property with no refund for the remaining nights.

The unit has a capacity for up to 2 people:

The Neighborhood:
It is located in the El Eixample district of Barcelona (the modernistic area). El Eixample is an extension of the city, designed by Ildefons Cerdà and begun in 1860, and is one of the most unusual urban spaces in the world. The personality of Barcelona is rooted in large measure in the unique design of this district.
El Eixample is a relatively small district which is built around the main road which runs through it, the Paseo de Gràcia. The charming Quadrat d'Or (Golden Square) area is bordered by Aribau Street, the Paseo de Sant Joan, the Rondes and Diagonal Avenue.
The consolidation of Quadrat d'Or as the center of the Barcelona bourgeoisie, which occurred during the last decade of the 19th century and the first decade of the 20th, coincided with the spread of Modernism. A stroll through the area will reveal to attentive visitors a wealth of historic buildings, which were built when the bourgeoisie moved away from the old city to the center of El Eixample around 1900.
Getting Around:
- The closest metro station is Universitat (L1) Passeig de Gràcia (L3)
- Provença and Paseo de Gracia train stations just a couple of steps from the apartment.
Other Things to Note:
*** TOURIST TAX & REGISTRATION PROCESS ***
- Since 2012 the Catalan administration requires that every guest staying in a hotel room or renting an apartment in Catalunya contributes with a small city tax fee of 9.50€ per guest (over 17 years old) per night up to a maximum of 7 nights. This cost IS NOT included on your reservation.
- National and International police demand that each guest, prior to their visit to Barcelona, would send information of their IDs or passports. This is mandatory, as it is stated in Catalan Law, and all legal touristic establishments are required to do so.
- This apartment uses a self-checkin system via the Chekin platform that will allow you to register all guests on the reservation
and pay the mandatory tourist taxes before your arrival.

Check-in time is at 17:00 hrs
Check-out is at 11:00 am (non-agreed late check-outs will incur on a 100€ charge per hour late)
*** HOUSE RULES ***
1. Parties, drugs, loud noise or any kind of disturbance towards the neighbors are completely forbidden, with a penalty of 400€ and possible eviction
2. Please observe quiet time between 10pm - 9am.
3. Respect your neighbors and be respectful in common areas (hallways, entrance, elevator, stairs).
4. Loss of keys will have a 100€ charge per key lost.
5. Smoking on interior areas will have a charge of 100€ + all cleaning fees involved.
6. Guests take full responsibility for any accidents, injuries or illnesses that occur while on the premises or its facilities.
7. Please leave the apartment in a respectable condition.
Not following those rules will incur on a monetary sanction and the full responsibility of any fines from the local administration or authorities.

Prime Location
The apartment is as pictured. Excellent location and good access with no contact check in/out. Easy walk to transportation and countless shops and restaurants. Good for a family with children. Great communication as well.

I paid 2,500 euros for 11 nights during the low season—an outrageous price for what turned out to be a disaster of an apartment. Check-in wasn’t until 5 PM, late for a vacation rental, and they refused early check-in, claiming they needed time for cleaning. Yet, when I arrived, the place was filthy. The floors were covered in dirt, the small bathroom’s toilet still had urine stains, and there was even an open electrical socket with exposed wiring. I keep photos of everything. There wasn’t so much as a complimentary bottle of water, and the reality of the apartment was far worse than the deceiving photos.
I’m a Barcelona local, and I also own a vacation rental in Spain, so I know how these things should be handled. This place, however, felt abandoned, stripped of any charm, leaving it bare, depressing, and cheap-looking. The wooden floor was in terrible shape, doors were peeling, the small bathroom mirror was ruined, and the main bathroom’s bathtub had mold. Again, I took photos of everything to prove how unacceptable it was.
I have no problem paying premium prices for premium accommodations, but this was nothing short of a scam. Apart from the location, everything about this place is awful. It’s rundown, dirty, and completely overpriced. If you don’t want to ruin your stay in Barcelona, stay far away from this dump.
