Welcome to Highfield House, an ideal apartment stay conveniently located for exploring Ripon and the picturesque Yorkshire region.

This charming one-bedroom apartment seamlessly blends modern comfort with timeless elegance. The living room showcases tasteful decor, featuring a cosy sofa, a smart TV, and complimentary Wi-Fi throughout your stay.

The living area shares its space with the fully equipped kitchen and dining area, providing all the amenities you could need for your stay. A dishwasher, oven and hob, microwave, fridge-freezer, and coffee machine are all at your disposal, so you can enjoy fresh coffee each morning and easily prepare any meals you wish. However, an array of cafés, restaurants and pubs in Ripon will surely appease any pallet.

Moving to the bedroom, you'll discover a king-size bed and a flat-screen TV, creating a chic and inviting atmosphere for relaxation. Wonderful place to stay

Everything in the apartment was of the highest standard and every thing we needed was provided along with things we didn’t know we needed! The bed was really comfortable and the shower was fantastic. The door to get up to the apartment from the second floor was not signposted and we only found the door to the apartment floor when a very nice gentleman from apartment 8 showed us the way. Also the lift wasn’t working.

We had a beautiful 3 night stay, the building itself was beautiful before you even reach your room. The room was absolutely perfect everything we expected and more it was stylish and comfortable. The location is perfect for a walk into ripon centre. Thanks for a lovely stay we will be back!

Lovely flat

We were a bit disappointed that the lift was not working and seemingly has been out of action since the beginning of December. We would not have booked the flat had we known this as we are in our late seventies and my husbands found the stairs a bit of a problem. Although the housekeeper did her best to solve the problem with the heating it remains uncontrollable. Apart from that we enjoyed our stay and would recommend the flat once these issues have been resolved.

Excellent, would recommend the property and happily stay again if in the area.

Spacious, stylish, warm, safe, attractive building, ample parking, quiet, easy walk into Ripon. Communication was also very good and entry to the property spot on. Mattress wasn’t the most comfortable but then I am a woman of a certain age so don’t sleep as well as I used to!

fabulous property. Clean and well equipped

Location was good. Quiet. about 1 minute walk from centre of Ripon used the stairs as the lift was not very good. took ages to go up 2 floors and doors didnt open very well. if you have a lift phobia definitely use the stairs.

The apartment is in a perfect condition. Everything is very clean and makes a neat impression. The fittings and furnishings are modern but also very comfortable. In the fridge there was some milk, there were tea bags and coffee pods so that one could settle in smoothly. The wi-fi is absolutely reliable, and there is a TV in the living room. There is parking space, too. Altogether the location is quiet and yet so close to the centre of Ripon that one can walk there easily. I felt very much at ease and can surely imagine to stay there again. The only real problem that occurred during my stay has to do with the front door. On my arrival something was stuck in the locking system, so the door wouldn't open even though the PIN was accepted and there was message that the door was unlocked. Another resident turned up, and initially he had the same problem, but then he knew some tricks which I wouldn't have known. From then on the locking system worked. However, on the evening before my departure, I couldn't get in again - this time because the code had been changed. Luckily a resident let me in, and in the flat I found the phone number of the owner of the apartment in the information folder and rang her up. She found out about the new code and sent it to me. Maybe it would be helpful, if one could get the owner's number straight away, perhaps in the email with the access details that is sent 48 hours before arrival. In many cases, I presume, the owner knows best about these technical issues. Apart from that, problems such as these seem to have a tendency to come up outside the regular office hours of Finest Retreats. One last point has to do with the TV in the bedroom. It can only be used with netflix or a similar app, one cannot watch ordinary TV programmes. This is not a real problem, as there is another TV in the living room, but it might be helpful to let people know beforehand.

Quiet, well equipped, comfortable apartment.

Location is the top floor of a Victorian house with a massive hall and stairwell. It takes about 15 minutes to walk into the centre of Ripon. The apartment is very well equipped, modern, clean, comfortable and quiet. The bed was very good. All the appliances worked OK. There is a lift to the top floor. As it's in the roofspace, some of the ceilings slope.
