Peaceful stay with a few issues

It is a peaceful surround and the caravan is as described, and overall we enjoyed our stay. But, there were some cleanliness issues such as grime in the bathroom and kitchen upon arrival and we were also surprised at missing basics like hand soap, sufficient toilet paper, and kitchen basics like salt & pepper, which are standard in all rentals.

Easy to find site, easy to find caravan. Good prior, during and post stay communications from owners.Parking right outside caravan. Everything you need in caravan for cooking. Great wifi and freeview tv.Caravan heating was great. Sofas comfy. Private waterside plot. Ducks and other birds always outside. 2 toilets.Site entertainment was really good. Best ive seen and ive seen a good few. All hired in rather than entertainment team. Friendly staff and residents.Swimming pool is small but not crowded due to booking system. Beer reasonably priced.Didnt do kids entertainment as ours is 8 going on 15 so would rather not. Will definitely rebook as would normally stay in Travelodge in Hastings on our twice yearly visits but this was so much better.
