Star View is an amazing place. It has all the small details thought out for your stay. The light switch labels were priceless. It was not too far off the pavement, but very secluded. Jina was responsive and friendly during our text conversations. Definitely a gem!
Such a nice remote cabin, but close enough to Starvation Lake to get there in a quick 15 minute drive. All the little touches to the cabin and outside grounds were so nice. We definitely would stay here again!! Thanks so much for the great communication.
We loved our stay! The cabin was gorgeous, breathtaking views, close to the lake, and Jina was great at communicating even when I got a little lost. Will be staying again!

This was a great experience. The views and the rustic landscape, and very clean cabin were great!
We definitely enjoyed our stay here. This was a great private location with tons of land around it, everything worked well, everything was very clean and everything you could need was available. Very relaxing and Michael was very very helpful. I would highly recommend it and if you have ATVs, a lot to explore!

This is our second stay at this getaway. We are a group of friends that kayak and this cabin is so close to the lake. It make launching easy and close. Jina is great to work with and their place is fabulous!!
Comfortable cabin with functional kitchen. Great remote location. We hiked on and around the property for two days and didn’t see another person. Only 1 bathroom.

Hi Brian, thank you for your feedback! We're happy to say that we've now added a second bathroom. Thanks again!
Starview cabin was amazing!! It was equipped with all the luxuries of home. Comfortable beds and many extras, like board games and dvds. While there was no WiFi it was nice to disconnect a bit while still having enough service for messages and calls. I would 100% recommend staying here. Thank you Jina
We enjoyed our time at the property and it met or exceed expectations. Good views, clean, good bedding.
Only draw back for me was the road in is a little rough if you are towing a 23’ boat. Without a trailer it’s fine. The owners seemed to genuinely care about their guest experience.
Thanks
DW
Our small friend group rented the cabin for new years eve.
It was such a nice, relaxing experience. The location is beautiful and it's so quiet.
There was plenty of wildlife to admire. The birds love the feeder and a group of deer passed through one morning. The stars at night were amazing as well.
I would love to return during the summer.
The cabin was very nice, and we were very comfortable. It's clean, warm and inviting. Very homey.
I highly recommend staying here.
You’re reading this review because you’re trying to decide if you should book this cabin. I have three words for you. Book it now! Lol! I don’t even know where to start, everything was amazing. The cabin, the host, the lake, the 40 acres. There is a two person jet Jacuzzi tub from heaven in this adorable and modern cabin. I think I wandered the whole 40 acres, because it’s just so beautiful and there’s paths so you’re just walking, you’re not climbing or trying to get through the bushes. The walk to the lake wasn’t even noticeable because I enjoyed it so much, it’s right there by the cabin. You have the property and really the lake too, all to yourself. It truly is paradise and I really look forward to going back as soon as possible!

Wanna get away??? This is the place!
My wife and I wanted to escape to a secluded area with scenery to celebrate our anniversary. After searching all over we decided to try StarView Retreat and were not disappointed. We loved the experience and can't say enough good things about the property. The pictures on VRBO don't do the property justice displaying the beauty and serenity of the area.
The property is easy to find, but nicely tucked away surrounded by beautiful hills and rock formations. The views from the cabin looking toward the mountains are captivating every time you look out the windows. With the close proximity to Starvation Reservoir you can go from breakfast in the cabin to the waterbanks for fishing, kayaking or boating in ten minutes. The mountains in the distance are a about an hour away and well worth the drive through the various canyons. Wildlife is everywhere. We had a great time trying to identify all the different types of tracks everywhere we went. Al's Market in nearby Duchesne has most everything you need for meals and more.
The cabin is completely stocked with every pot, pan, dish and utensil you can think of to make life easy during your stay Michael and Jina, are fantastic to deal with. I thought Michael might get sick of all my questions but he was always gracious and quick to answer any question we had about the property or things to do nearby.
If you want some peace and quiet and a chance to unplug like we did, this is the perfect place to do it. We are already trying to figure out when we can come back!

We're so glad you had a great time! Thank you for the kind review and for taking care of the cabin like it was your own. You guys are more than welcome any time! Happy anniversary and thanks for giving one of the kayaks a "deep clean" in the lake! ;)
This was our second time staying at the cabin, they made some great improvements, we loved how secluded and peaceful this property is lots of places to hike and walk loved all the hummingbirds and watching a small animals running around. Loved how close starvation is to the cabin the kayaks and trailer definitely a plus!
We are definitely going to stay again!!
We only stayed for 2 nights and my family all told me they want to stay longer when we book it again for next year. Beautiful scenery, cool rock formations, great fire pit area, beautiful and clean inside. We loved our stay here!
This cabin is a gem!! Jina was great checking in on us to make sure all is well The cabin is so nice, fully stocked kitchen with mainly anything you need and the property is huge. Lots of animals to watch like birds, squirrels, chipmunks, bunnies and lizards. It was a great get away from the city. The only downfall for us were the beds, they are all very firm and hard. Overall an awesome stay and we will be back next year!!
