Welcome to Shepherds Rock, a beautifully renovated detached property built in 1914 and lovingly restored to celebrate its 110th birthday. Nestled in the serene Lakeland countryside, this secluded haven offers a perfect blend of modern luxury and classic charm, making it an ideal getaway for those seeking peace, privacy, and stunning natural beauty.
Spacious and Tranquil Living Spaces
Step inside Shepherds Rock and experience a spacious, calm, and inviting atmosphere. The open-plan kitchen, dining, and sitting area is the heart of the home, featuring a high-spec modern kitchen fully equipped with an induction hob, oven, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, kettle, and everything else you need for a gourmet meal. A large dining table and comfortable sitting area with four chairs surround a cosy log burner, perfect for gathering with family and friends. From here, you can access the patio through large doors that open up to breath-taking countryside views.
Adjacent to the kitchen, you`ll find a snug—a cosy library space with a couple of chairs, ideal for curling up with a good book or enjoying some quiet time. The spacious living room offers another log burner, a projector for family movie nights, and additional patio doors, creating a seamless connection between indoor comfort and outdoor beauty.
Gilpin Annex: Included with Shepherds Rock is the Gilpin Annex, a separate building offering additional accommodation. It features two ground-floor bedrooms connected by a Jack and Jill bathroom with a shower, WC, and sink. While the annex provides comfortable sleeping arrangements and garden access, there’s no kitchen, so guests will need to use the main house for meals and other facilities.
