A hidden gem of a house well worth a visit, ideal for families and groups

There is a genuine relief when as a guest, you arrive at a property of such quality that it makes you smile constantly, and in Beech Rock, this was certainly the case. The property was immaculate, high spec finishes, and perfect for our needs.

The perfect venue!

What a stunning place to stay! Beech Rock was the perfect accommodation for our group of friends. Spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated with every amenity you needed for a relaxing, Lakes getaway. We had the most wonderful stay. Thank you also for the kind gift hamper on arrival; thoroughly appreciated!

Beautiful house beautifully presented surrounded by trees. Everything you could possibly need was available in the kitchen, plenty of towels provided for use of the hot tub.Nice walk down to Bowness but hill going back up was hard going but we managed it by taking our time. Owner very helpful recommending local businesses e.g. eateries that are dog friendly and balloon displays.Would definitely recommend a stay here.

Family holiday

The property is luxurious with great attention to detail and plenty of indoor and outdoor space for 10 people. It’s in an excellent position for visiting the area. We enjoyed the hot tub and a relaxing holiday. The wwlcome basket full of local produce was greatly appreciated and enjoyed by all.

Wonderful house for family gathering.

The house was very clean and spacious in a quiet neighborhood up a hill from town. There are superb walks from the house into town (steep hill down into town) and out into hills with incredible views of the area. The house has huge bedrooms with a smaller kitchen and gathering space that is ideal for 8, but works for a few more. A great stay. We’d stay there again!

New year

Honestly cannot recommend this house enough it was incredible we traveled from Scotland for a week to celebrate new year we had 7 adults 2 children & 2 dogs in our party & it was absolutely perfect for us! A short distance from the town which is absolutely beautiful. We loved every minute thank you!

Excellent property. All rooms decorated to high standard, bedrooms all with en suites and walk in wardrobes in most. Great location with easy access to all local amenities. Fabulous 50th @ Beech Rock

Celebrating my wife’s 50th Birthday with her parents, our 4 kids and our gorgeous granddaughter. All the way home all we have been asked is when can we return! Our 18yr old wants to celebrate her next birthday there! Perfect socialising space, definitely need to return in the summer to savour the outside terrace. (Would like to see the addition of a patio heater to sit out in the evening.) but it certainly didn’t deter from a fantastic weekend.

Relaxing break

We stayed here with family for my dad’s 70th birthday. The house was spacious, clean and had everything we needed for an enjoyable break. There’s lots to do in Bowness on Windermere which is a short walk away. We would definitely recommend this property.
