About this property

The Snug - 2 bedrooms apartment in central Hanoi

Located on the fifth floor of an old and quiet apartment block near Hanoi centre, The Snug is perfect for a good rest after all the hustle bustle of the city yet convenient to reach places with walkable distance (5-10 mins walk to Hanoi Opera House, 10 mins taxi to Old Quarter).

Fully furnished with amenities, decorated with natural light and greenery, The Snug fits everyone who doesn't mind walking a few flights of stairs and experiencing the local neighbourhood.

My place is up on the 5th floor of one of the oldest residential area in Hanoi. The area contains 5-6 condo blocks sharing a common courtyard where, during daytime, utilised by the locals for what they need. There are places for them to hang clothes, to park motorbikes, to let kids run around playing together. There are even some small noodle shops and a tiny local market gathered in the back yard in the morning, a small general store owned by a tiny woman with her adorable cat (we can pet him for free woohoo), and an iced tea shop on the side of the pavement run by a middle aged woman who knows everyone in the area (we can't pet her for free though). They all together form an interesting local atmosphere around the area.

In contrast, once you step on the stairs to reach the apartment, you can already feel all the dynamic of the city left behind and what waiting for you now are super comfortable beds and... a lot of plants :)))
