Enjoy a peaceful, private and spacious 16th Century 5 bedroomed farmhouse, situated on two acres of land at the crossroads of Somerset, Devon, and Dorset, you'll be just 30 minutes from the renowned Jurassic Coast.
The farmhouse is split into three separate dwellings all available for private rental. Manor Farmhouse (This Listing) and the adjoining Manor Cottage (Sleeping an additional 7 people) and Manor Barn (Sleeping an additional 4 people). Manor Cottage and Manor Barn can be found on separate listings. The Swimming pool, sauna and hot tub and exclusively reserved for the use of Manor House guests and the gardens are private and not shared with the other holiday lets so you would have exclusive use of these facilities for the duration of your stay. For insurance purposes, we require all of our guests who wish to swim in the outdoor pool during their stay to sign up to NOWCA Wild. This costs £15 per person and takes 5 minutes to register for - It provides personal liability insurance for our guests. Instructions for how to do this will be emailed to all guests prior to their arrival, but please bear this additional fee in mind when booking with us.
Manor Farm is the perfect mix of peaceful, rural country living, whilst still being just a short drive away from all of the local amenities, major transport links and tourist attractions.
The house sleeps 14 (5 bedrooms/3.5 baths) and has 5 living areas: a huge kitchen, living room, sunroom/family room and dining room. Together with a natural outdoor swimming pool, jacuzzi and Sauna, outdoor courtyard dining areas, fire pit and outdoor log burner, large gas BBQ and large garden, it's a perfect retreat for friends, families or colleagues coming together.
Manor Farm is located just 2 miles from the centre of Chard Town. Chard is a picturesque Somerset Town, providing many local amenities including numerous supermarkets, pubs and restaurants, cafes, museum, weekly markets and events and retail shops.
Manor Farm is situated on the Devon/Dorset borders with easy access to the Jurassic coast. Lyme Regis, Sidmouth, Seaton, Charmouth beaches only a short drive away. There is plenty to see and do during your visit, as we are in very close proximity of farm shops, Chard Resevoir (Great fishing spot! 10 minute walk!), garden centres and cafes, country pubs, Perrys cider mill, cycle routes just 2 minutes front the door (route 33), golf courses (2 miles) and National Trust sites, Ferne Animal Sanctuary and plenty more!
Manor Cottage would suit families, couples or professionals working in the area, with close transport links to the M5 (just 9 miles from J25).
This is the perfect place for an all year round retreat.
Both The Barn (Sleeps 4) and The Cottage (Sleeps 7) have well equipped good sized kitchens
suitable for ‘home from home’ cooking/baking for the family/large groups, a dining room/sun room for sit down dining, a comfortable sitting room with digital TV.
Private outdoor garden areas. The Cottage is situated next to a beautiful water mill (safe for children as the water mill is walled) - ideal area for outdoor eating and relaxing.

Hello and welcome to our place. We are a family of 6 and enjoy being outside in the countryside, beaches, swimming, paddle boarding and so much more. We run a successful open water swimming business in the UK. Our place is a work in progress as it is a 16th century farm house. So always lots of work to do keeping it looking lovely.
We offer two self conatined properties - The Barn, sleeping 4 and The Cottage, sleeping 7. This is the perfect location for families to come and enjoy a private and peaceful holiday.
